Booked a room on Horseshoe website for $106.09 for a Wednesday night in December, I even received an email referencing the same amount total. I noticed my credit card got charged $116.09 so I called them to see why, apparently they charge everyone $10 processing fee which they don't tell you about. I find it ridiculous since the casino was so bad. There was absolutely nothing going on and the employees did not appear happy. We gambled for maybe 20 minutes and headed over to Gold Strike. Gold Strike was so much better, the employees seemed happy and there was a live band, so much more exciting being there! We ended up gambling there for 4 hours and only lost $300-$400 so not a bad night.

I paid for the rooms through Priceline and Priceline charged me a Resort fee of $18.96 on my reservation. And then when we checked out the Hotel Horseshoe in Tunica Charged us again $18.96 for a resort fee.

Yes, the casino and hotel is outdated, but that's what I like about it. It's a nostalgic trip to my earlier years. I didn't have a problem with cleanliness like others have stated, though one trashcan in the room is kind of strange. Staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Slots are tight, at least for me, but my wife did hit for 2 hand pays. all was great! best NY strip steak I ever had at binions, but pricey! one thing I did not like was the lack of transportation to memphis or anywhere outside the casino area. use lyft from the hotel to graceland, uber never has a driver in the area(approx. 50$ one way to graceland) there is nothing around the casino and I mean absolutely nothing. ask the front desk for a coffee pot if you don't have one, they were more than happy to provide one. all in all a wonderful trip!

Hotel is nothing like it used to be. We were assigned a room miles from the elevator. Room was dark, dingy, yellow lights to where you could not see in the room (which was probably a good thing). Checkin did not bother to tell us there was construction outside of the room. We got there we could not open the curtains to let light in for the construction men outside. Next morning at 8:00, more construction men and buzz saws running. Eating is limited and expensive. Casino was clean and new machines. However the hotel gives Caesars a bad name. Would not stay there again.

Casino wasn't to bad didn't win but got to play a while. Room was not very clean but the bed was comfortable only stayed here because the gold strike was full. No coffee maker in the room but they have a Starbucks if you want a 8 coffee . Restaurant way over priced and not that great id suggest eating at a local restaurant instead of casinos.

I enjoyed my time there. Everyone was very pleasant.

I liked the craps and blackjack machines the best!!

When playing you can order your drinks from the computer screen. That was the best instead if looking for a cocktail waitress.

We did not stay here but we do come to Tunica every year or two to go to the casinos. I get some of the reviews here but people need to remember we are still in a pandemic whether people want to believe and accept it or not. There is lack of staff everywhere in the country due to businesses having a hard time finding employees to hire. The casino resort I did stay at didn't have daily maid service or an open buffet for this reason. No, it probably won't be like it was before the pandemic but people hollered because the casinos were closed. Well, now they are at least open and trying as best they can with limited personnel.

I do enjoy hitting all the casinos when I come here. Horseshoe is still a nice casino, had some newer slots and was clean in the casino. Yes, the slots were tight but not as tight as a couple other casinos in Tunica. I agree with everyone that slots don't have to be that tight. Perhaps some places are trying to make up for money lost when the casino's were closed, but they all have to remember if they are so tight people won't come, they won't make any money! If they are loose enough for people to win now and then, they will come back. No one likes to walk in and drop all their money in 5 or 10 minutes. At least give some pay backs to keep them playing for a while on their money.

Last thing in general. People should expect a clean place to play and stay. They shouldn't expect 5 star quality and amenities on 2 star prices, but at least they should have a clean room and be able to have fun. People also have to be a bit tolerant of the current situation and realize there may not be enough people employed to keep rooms as spotless as in the past. I've seen many bad reviews referring to the fact that other Tunica casino's are already closed up or demolished. The surest way to get all the Tunica area casino's closed down is to nit pick at everything and give them a bad review. People need to be honest but fair in their reviews, especially during these stressful times, otherwise Tunica gambling may close down completely and then how far will you have to go to find a casino that may be even worse?

This had to be the most discussing place I have ever stayed. On a road trip with some friends and booked one night (26 July 2021) smoking with 2 queens. We arrived late (around 10 PM) and checked in. We were given a non-smoking room, called the front desk and they gave us a smoking room. Bell Captain took us to the 4th floor (smoking floor) and immediately as we got off of the elevator the smell of skunk was over whelming. Arrived at our room and lamp did not work, Bell Captain was going to bring us another lamp. Waiting for the lamp, we figured out that someone had unplugged the lamp so we pulled the side table out and was able to have light which was probably a mistake as there was so much dust and filth behind the table, layer of dust on the headboards, sticky rings on the table, complimentary water bottles had been opened and drank from, no coffee pot or supplies, mold around the tub, soap dish had used soap, only 2 towels, floors were sticky/filthy, no ashtrays. We checked for bedbugs too, which we were lucky as there were none. They had the gaul to put a sticker on the door that stated the room was cleaned and sanitized for our safety. The only reason we booked this hotel/casino was because it was a Ceasar/Harrah property which we thought would be a decent hotel and casino. You would think they would be better at protecting their "brand". The casino was not much better, personnel did not seem to be familiar with the casino, we asked about the restroom and bar area and the staff didn't know, so we wondered around on our own. The Bell Captains were great, understanding and considerate, we did tip them generously. When checking out of the hotel the following morning I spoke with the manager on duty as well as the housekeeping manager. They were unconcerned, unapologetic and somewhat rude. Manager said she would give me a $20 resort fee credit but I received a whopping $7.80 credit. NFL sponsors, I would rethink having my logo associated with this property!!!!

Just visited. Rooms are clean. Slots still a little tight. Casino floor clean. Need more waitresses but everyone is short staffed. Would love to have more of a selection to eat with lower prices. But overall-great place to stay.

Dirty room with clogged toilet, bathtub and sink. Was told that room service cannot be ordered from anywhere in the hotel. Was also told that you cannot order food for pick-up from any of the restaurants in the hotel Cocktail waitress’s in casino are snobby and do not come around to the tables in a timely fashion.There is TOO much I could put in this review.
