We booked a group of aroud a dozen 10 years olds for a birthday event and the experience proved to be brilliant from start to finish. Tony guided our young, inexperienced group around Clareville beach with great confidence and real professionalism. All of the boys had a wonderful time and I can't recommend his service enough. Thank you Tony.

Tony is a legend.
Due to bad weather we had cancelled for around 7 weeks in a row. Normal humans would find this annoying, but not the big man.
He welcomed us with open arms and his opening line of 'I feel like we know each other already' was great to hear.
I'm not a water person, and after a couple of splashes I decided it was time to listen to Tony and stop being such a stubborn 'bloke'. lol
He's a great trainer and can spot a flaw in technique immediately... but his manner in correcting you is exemplary and his encouragement flawless.
Within minutes my wife and I were comfortably bombing up and down with extreme confidence.
After a cup of tea and a great chat he encouraged us to push a bit further and head out for another half an hour... just what was required.
Confidence built I'm now hooked.
AV SUP is a great experience and I cannot recommend highly enough.
Oh and my wife nailed it straight away making the birthday present AVSUP gift card well worth every penny.
As I said at the top Tony is a legend.

We had visited Tony with our 3 kids as a family. 👨👩👧👦 Great coaching, even our 9 years old son learned the technique within minutes. Absolutely fabulous experience, can only recommend! 👍

Tony is an excellent instructor, so friendly and professional. Immediately puts you at ease and really helped me build my confidence very quickly. His boards are also very good, unlike some other places where the quality isn’t great and safety measures haven’t been considered. Would high recommend Tony and I can’t wait to get out on the board to practice more!

Avalon SUP is the best experience, both for value and fun! I have been on a SUP only twice before and could only stand up, but within 1 hour Tony had taught me 4 manoeuvres that I can now use on my own with confidence. He is a very entertaining and experienced teacher, the equipment is all well maintained and the booking process and payment was straight forward and prompt. I look forward to my next session and will definitely re-book with Avalon SUP!

We had a fabulous day today during our first try of SUP. Tony is an excellent teacher, relating well to the adults as well as our children. It is such a beautiful place, and the water is calm, catering for all levels of swimming ability. I would definitely recommend it!

To truly enjoy an experience you must have a patient and supportive guide. Tony is amazing! The booking was easy and the experience was 5 Star - his guidance made picking up the skill really easy. A definite must-do!

Tony is an excellent teacher, patient with uncertain beginners yet encouraging so that you get the most out of your time on the water. He is a friendly, professional and reliable guide with a good sense of humour and knows the area where he teaches well. He runs groups and lessons for all levels. If you want to try this, or meet up with a group of like minded people to paddle regularly to beautiful beaches in the area, he's your guy! Highly recommended.

As a family from the UK we had always wanted to paddle board, Tony offered a first class professional, friendly and relaxing lesson followed by an hour of independent paddle boarding.
Tony was fantastic with our 8 year old daughter and really got her to a very confident level. We were amazed at how well she took to it.
Thank you tony for such a fantastic time. When we return we will definitely be paddle boarding with you again.
Highly recommend this activity for family fun.
