This was one of the best 1/2 day activities that I have ever done. Treat yourself with the Clydesdales tour across the street from Grant's Farm and you will have an incredible day. Grant's Farm was closed due to projected rain but the Clydesdale Tour across the street was open and SPECTACULAR!

Definitely worth a quick stop. Allocate an hour to walk the grounds watch the movie and get a house tour. We'll stcked gift and book shop.

Great time learning about the Clydesdale horses . We were lucky that only 4 of us were in the tour . Got to see close up the horses. Many are in training . Great for kids

Our family went to Grant's Farm mainly to see the Clydesdale stadium and was pleasantly surprised by all the activities and things available to do here "free of charge". We had to pay $18 to park our vehicle- but, after that, all the actual activities did not cost extra. Since our visit occurred during the fall, we went on the Safari ride which was absolutely beautiful and saw a wide range of wildlife, but they also had a corn maze which our children loved exploring. There was an opportunity to purchase pumpkins and homemade items for an additional charge. The horse stables were great to see and the horses were overwhelmingly beautiful. There is a "tasting/sample" area for Budweiser beer which we did not participate in, but there was non-alcoholic drinks and multiple food items available for purchase. We really did have a great visit here and would highly recommend it to other people.

We did the close-up tour of the Clydesdales and it was fun. We were able to get our picture taken with Pete and pet some of the other horses. Tom was a great tour guide and knew a lot about the facility. You even get a bottle of free beer if you take the tour! They also have a small gift shop. The rest of the farm wasn’t open today but I’m sure you could almost spend the whole day there if it were. Worth the trip!

Spent a wonderful Sunday there with the family. All was good until we ordered food. One Brat and French fries took us 40 minutes to get. This was uncalled for as this is a staple at the Farm. I cannot believe that the kitchen staff was so overwhelmed by this type of order. These were not complicated orders, it would be something many people would have ordered

This was our 2nd time at Grant's Farm, but it had been 10+ years since our last visit. We did the Clydesdale Behind the Scenes Tour and it was very informative and our guide Tom was very nice and engaging. Not sure little kids would get as much out of this, but being able to get up close with the horses was enjoyed by the teen/pre-teens in our group.
We also were there for the final night of the summer concert series. Very entertaining show. If you have smalls the petting zoo animals will be entertaining for them.

AMAZING!!! We went to visit Summer Nights that room place 4-9pm. It was great. Tram ride onto the Farms showed us all the animals, and then there were a bunch more to see while walking around. There is a free farm animal show, you can ride a carrousel for a small fee, and do other activities for small fees. It was amazing & well-beyond my expectations! My almost 3 year old had a blast and so did we!! The for & music was great too. Definitely worth a visit at night!

This farm was so much fun, All the animals look very well cared for, being able to interact with the animals was so much fun! Beautiful habitats for the animals.

Loved riding the train and seeing all the wildlife and domestic animals. Grant's cabin was a bonus treat. Our driver was very knowledgable

Were you primarily in the stables? We were thinking of doing this soon, but it's really cold outside. It would be OK if we were in the stables, though, I think.

Though there are some outdoor portions, there is plenty indoors. The stables are actually adjacent to the main NHP.

My apologies for not answering sooner, Grants farm will open October 1 for a Drive Thru Halloween Fest. It is $40 per car.
If you do a search for Grant's Farm, it will give you the webpages for the Halloween Drive Thru.
This is the first time they will be open this year because of the virus.

It’s a walking tour. They have a trolley ride for part of it.
How long would you say you need to fully enjoy grants farm? I only have a short time in St. Louis so im trying to plan accordingly.😊

A few good hours would be ok if you want to enjoy it without rushing. We did it first thing in the morning, then went to the Zoo. If you want to do every show and activity allow more time. Basically it’s a huge petting zoo with some great extras.
Can you be 16 and still get in without an adult?
