Wow! Just wow!! Our first escape room and WE DID IT!! SOO MUCH FREAKING FUN!! SOOO hard, we barely made it out and may not have without a little help from the amazing game master!!!
Advice: Work together! Be organized! Use your hints wisely!! And slow down!
The difficulty to this room is Hard, but you and a good team CAN do it!! Once you escape from some handcuffs that is!!😉👉👉

I have been to much better escape rooms, no sound effects, cheap props, no rhyme or reason to tips, can't hear person on monitor, it's like a baby monitor they talk on. Our group was unfortunately disappointed.

Love this place! We have done all four rooms over the last two years. Very friendly staff!!!! Rooms are challenging, but not overly so.

Took my wife and daughter, all of which are adults. This was dad’s night to take the girls out. Picked 417 Escape Artist, as I wanted something new and different. Movies are great but no interaction with each other and, frankly just seems to get mundane. So I Choose this place. Are there other similar places? Yes, but this one had a couple of particular interesting rooms. So I choose Ozark Howler! Great room and convinced my daughter we had to escape before the bear attacked us.
The staff was great in explaining the process so that we could begin our hour long venture to escape the room. Don’t worry, they even show you how to leave if things become, let’s say, more than you can handle. So we had this hour to figure out how to unlock the puzzles and hints given along the way to get the final code to exit the room. Working as a team and listening to others ideas is I believe the greatest way to sort out all the clues and find your way to the exit. We came so close, yet so far away. They even let us know how close we where, yet we didn’t make it. Disappointing I know! Days later all three of still talk about it and can’t wait to take the grandkids.

My sister and I tackled one of these rooms together. We ran out of time, sadly, but had a great time with the puzzles. Don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just say this: check everything.

My friends and I went to 417 Escape Artist for a fun girls night out. We picked the easiest room since most of us had never done an escape room before. Even though it was still challenging for our group, we had a blast. We made it with a few minutes to spare. I'd like to go back to try a more difficult room. Make sure to bring someone along who is good a cracking codes and solving puzzles. :)

417 Escape Artist is one of the best escape rooms in Springfield, MO. I have done every room here and all rooms are challenging, but fun. If it’s your first time, or you’re experienced doing escape rooms, this place is a must. I would recommend 417 Escape Artist to anyone looking to do an escape room!

My girlfriend, son, and I did the Ozark Howler room (which is actually 2 rooms). Very challenging. We didn't figure it out in time, but still had a lot of fun.

Our daughter celebrated her 12th birthday by making an appt here with her group of friends. The room they chose was exciting and challenging! They escaped with only 2 minutes and 51 seconds to spare. After they escaped the room, the girls came out all excited to try another room.
