Stopped by on our way to Branson. It has an entire museum with tons of interactive, hands-on exhibits. Lots of information about wildlife. Several living animal exhibits as well. There's a great play area for kids. There's also a fabulous room for bird watching. It's definitely a must do for nature lovers. We also ran around in the snow outside.

Beautiful and convenient to Springfield ! We enjoyed a long walk with various flora and animals. There is also interesting nature center with friendly staff.

This is a great trail system to get a good hike in. There is lots of parking, the trails themselves need a few more signs and markings. This is a hidden gem in Springfield that shouldn't be missed.

We stopped her briefly on our way to Mansfield. We went inside to use the restrooms and then checked out their museum. I can't speak to the trails or nature stuff. However, if we are back in the Springfield area we might stop again and spend more time there.

Beautiful spot!! We took our 7 and 3 year old hiking here. Great scenery, very peaceful. There was quite a few people out and about, yet, still seemed like we had the place to ourselves! Great hiking trails! The 3 year old we had to carry once a while because he got tired but the 7 year old had a blast. It’s free and good exercise!

Found this place when in Springfield on 35th Anniversary. what a beautiful well kept park. I cannot wait to come in Spring when all in bloom to again walk all these trails. am sure there are many spring flower surprises and many more birds. I heard a red belly woodpecker but he was high in trees. We will be back....

I spent some time here one morning while my daughter was attending training. It was right down the street from our hotel, and I love to walk so figured I'd check it out. It was a beautiful day, and I spent the morning hiking the trails through this center. It was quiet and just lovely scenery. I'd love to return and visit!

If you are willing to look there is a lot of wildlife to see. The guides showed us many plants and animals we would have missed otherwise. We saw turkeys, heron, and many fish as well as plants native to the area. Come and enjoy the day and take many pictures.

Beautiful place to take a walk. The trails are excellent condition and well marked. I recommend to spend a couple of hours walking and enjoying the view.

Winter with clear view of deer, turkey and bald eagles or spring and fall with ideal temperatures for long walks in peaceful settings; trees , lakes and paths the experience is always rewarding and reminds one to return often. Summer there is abundant shade to make steamy days tolerable under cover by the tall trees. The trails are generally easy while a few hills can be found on the long trail for slight challenge. All routes are always well maintained. The staff is very helpful and willing to answer questions.
