Had dinner here last week- Day 2 for Daniel, the new Chef. Welcome! Superb meal. Especially appreciated my calamari because I cannot have spicy peppery things-(which I used to love but can't eat now sadly) which is challenging for me ...and all restaurants ' chefs .
Daniel said 'No problem' and cooked me the tastiest & most tender calamari. Delicious! My husband had the salt and pepper calamari and thought it great as well. Thanks so much, Daniel! Lovely and very helpful staff; very reasonable prices as well. Can't wait to try Daniel's seafood gnocchi next time- which is my (and many others') favourite of all choices.

What a lovely little location, with some great food at good prices, live music and a great atmosphere. Probably the closest I have come to an English Pub here in Adelaide. We will be back soon.

Our group chose to eat here after the Blackwood pageant in December. The meals and drinks were reasonably priced and service was fast and efficient. Staff were very friendly. We all enjoyed our meals which were all a good size and very tasty. Three of us won prizes in the raffle. A great night out. Will return again.

This is a nice RSL Cafe, with good meals and nice atmosphere. The service is good by friendly staff.

Went along to see the live music, what a great atmosphere.Service was awesome with drinks and meals priced well. Also had two pool tables and a arcade game. We booked and glad we did as we wouldn't have got a seat, so make sure you book on the day to get a spot especially if you are a large family. Highly recommended for a good night out.

Last time there I had lamb shank. It was delicious. My wife likes the seafood gnocci.

The Blackwood RSL now has a very good chef (Neville) who regularly produces a good selection of great meals. Prices are very good. Friday nights have a different group of performers each week.and every now and then the level of performers is exceptional.
Usually they are very entertaining.Friday nights also have a food & wine draw which includes excellent parcels of local meat and vegetables.

I've been to this RSL a number of times and it's a great place to drop in for a quick drink or a meal in the front bar or have a nice lunch or dinner in the dining room. There's nothing fancy about the decor, but the meals are good, honest tucker and the staff are friendly.
Each night at 6pm the whole place pauses for the Ode of Remembrance and it was nice to see this tradition respected by people of all ages, including kids.
There are two pool tables, a couple of darts boards and a table top video game for kids. On Wed and Fri there are a raffles for things like wine and meat trays, and live music Friday nights and weekends.
Kids are welcome and all in all this is an inviting and inclusive place.

Whilst an older facility, the RSL is a valuable community resource and often well patronised. The atmosphere is welcoming and as with any RSL a reflective opportunity to remember our serving people.
