It is disappointing that we drove all the way from San Diego to visit Virginian City to a nothing to see or do city/town. Everything was pricy and the food was not even tasty.

Drove by here with a guide and stopped. Guide stated that the carved stone on the bottom was a step for people to either step on or off their carriage. No need to jump.

I looked up the location of this place in an article on the internet. They said it was on the corner of B and Taylor... not quite. It is a few houses south of that intersection on B street.
The house itself is privately owned and does not give tours, but the outside is impressive. There is an old, delapidated sign that reads "Millionaires row 1870" next to the house.

Walk a bit south of Taylor and you'll see the big castle on the hill on the right. It's a very stately building. You couldn't go in but it's worth taking a look just for the beautiful architecture.
