Ice cream was so good. A few dairy free options. The animals were super cute. It was so hot the pigs were playing in their water.

Beech Hill Farm is a collection of attractive traditional red barn houses. Venture into the main barn house and you are met by a spacious ice cream parlour and a team of extremely articulate and knowledgeable staff. Enquire into the contents of a particular ice cream and you will be met by precise descriptions of the flavours and toppings included in the ice cream. The description of any ice cream is delivered with confidence and without hesitation demonstrating the servers' intimate knowledge of the ice creams in their selection. Very impressive, would visit again.

COVID has changed the visitor experience somewhat. They understandably limit contact with the animals and the store, counter is closed. There is a takeout window and we had no issues. Lots of folks wearing masks and taking precautions. The ice cream is always great as was the company. Keeping those traditions alive no matter the season. Corn maze was open today but we had hiked and decided not to do it.

This was my first visit with my husband, sister and her SO. The staff were friendly and helpful. We tried the corn maze (a first for all of us) and did both of them. I liked the activity sheet that went along with them. Great idea and so much fun!
Visiting with the farm animals was nice. The Flower Barn had potted plants with adorable/original pots. I couldn't get over the low prices.
We finished the day with ice cream sundaes and sodas. Omg the ice cream was delicious! It was difficult to choose which flavors to try- so many choices. Again, the prices were more than reasonable.
I would recommend this place to anyone! :)

It is always our tradition to hike a mountain and then visit Beech Hill for their Ice Cream. We also love the animal encounters and the grounds. We just keep on coming back for their "make your own sundae" with good friends. We love the farm.

We brought our 2 year old granddaughter thinking that this was a petting farm. It is not.
We saw cows feeding through the side of a barn like open slot feeding area but they are some 20 feet away with a rope that separates you from them. Chickens but penned and not accessible. The two lambs and a laama are penned and lay toward the back of the pen, so not accessible A pig did come to the pen front and our granddaughter was able to push her hand in to touch its nose and its ear which she enjoyed. 2 peacocks, penned one which did fan its tail. a couple of donkeys and a pony but fenced in and not close enough to touch. and thats's about it for the animal experience.
The ice cream with gift shop is quite nice. Good selection of ice cream and making your own sundae was neat. some frozen meats, various pasta, sauces, jams and mustards and gift items and signs for sale were nice. however on this particular visit, they were out of eggs and bacon which we would have bought.
the animal part which is primarily why we came...meh.
there is a sand pile with toy trucks for children to play.
The ice cream part is good, but not worth a trip just for the ice cream in my estimation if coming from a distance. this is no Sturbridge Village!. may go again as its close to where I live and it fascinated our granddaughter but at 2 years, she doesn't' know any better. Older children would soon be bored but the ice cream draw could well be worth it to them. The servers in the ice cream shop are most friendly and helpful.
no admission fee to see the animals. no sandwiches, just good ice cream.

We stopped by on our way home from a leaf peeping hike. We love visiting here and seeing the animals and making our own sundaes. Yum! We will be back!

We are locals who used to take kids and grandkids there for animals and ice cream. Portions are expensive and stingy. The farm animals are sadly lacking in variety and number compare to years ago. You can get kid cones at most other places that are the size of the smalls here. They don't make their own and never have so they could charge less for say Hershey's. We stopped going last year. Sad that this tradition has gone. They used to post band concerts and such on their website. So far this summer they have nothing posted-not even the Hopkinton Town Band.

We took my Granddaughter Emma. She loved the animals, ice cream, dump truck area with beach sand. We shall return soon.
