Wouldn't waste my time at this mountain, they hired nothing but drunks & druggies.
Anybody worth hiring they screwed over from what i've heard! The staff is so rude!!! Avoid at all costs

We took the lift to the top of the mountain in July. The views were amazing. Coming down was the best part of the ride because the views were great. If you have a go Pro, bring it for the ride down.

Um lugar maravilhoso. Conta com uma estação de ski muito bem estruturada. O serviço prestado é excelente e conta com um café muito aconchegante.

Ok I actually skied here in 2019 when Peak owned it and it was pretty doggone good 1/5/19 and at least half the trails were open. Also skied there back in 2005. Rode the original gondola back in the mid 60s as a young kid.
Don’t know what the heck is wrong but Vail took over and there’s only 9 out of 48 trails open past the middle of January 2022. Lots of irate Vail epic pass holders.
Attitash not a whole lot better
Gave it a 3 star overall but less than 1 this year( and they still want $94 on a weekday!!) an a 4 star the 2 times I skied there. I don’t think I paid over $40 in 2019

Thompson Falls is a series of (at least) four waterfalls on Thompson River. We hiked to the waterfalls while visiting the area with our dog. The trailhead is at Wildcat Mountain Ski Area and starts across the bridge behind the lodge. The trail leads a little over a mile to the lower waterfall where the creek drops over a clamshell-like rock. To see the upper waterfalls, continue on the same side of the creek about 200 feet and cross the creek below the middle falls. It slides down open rock face and then has a lower drop over a block. The upper falls is about 100 feet further and drops in two distinct streams around a little island in the creek. The left drop is really cool into a narrow gorge. The trail ends after another 200 feet or so near the fourth waterfall. I backtracked about 100 feet and got in the creek and rock-hopped up to see this one. Overall, a really cool waterfall with hike.

This was our first ski experience and the location was wonderful. We had a great instructor that was very patient and helpful. Nick went above and beyond as an instructor. The weather was warm but the snow was still beautiful. It would have been a 5-star trip if I had not lost some cash in the restaurant. When I discovered it had fallen out of my pocket and returned all that I found was the paper clip that held it folded together. I truly wish the person that found it would have done the right thing and turned it in. It was cash given to my daughter from her grandmother to spend on her vacation 😢. Other then that incident we had a great time.

We arrived to find the power out. We had planned a Saturday Ski Day and bought tickets in advance. There was no announcement or alert and we checked before arriving. We had to hear this from other guests that were walking around. There was also no staff around to answer questions. We had to wait in line for an hour to get to a customer service person only to be told they had no information or ETA. We finally left and discovered it was too late to go to another mountain so we wasted a vacation day. I called later to ask for a refund and they did not want to give me one. They wanted me to go another day. Its a 1 and 1/2 hour trip to get there.
I was a lifetime Wildcat skier bot no longer.
Communication and Customer Service is horrible.

we had researched and found Thompson falls. we hiked one day to the top. so beautiful. we had not planned on getting wet so did not bring swimwear but once there we just had to go in the waterfall - so peaceful and we say only 2 others on the trail

We took a ride in the Gondola and really enjoyed the views both on the ride up, and from the top. We loved that they allowed people to take their dogs in the gondola and saw lots of people hiking down with them.
The only downside was a couple who allowed their large dog to run around off-leash bothering people and other dogs because they had absolutely no control over it, but all of the other dogs were owned by responsible people so it was just one inconsiderate couple.
Maybe staff could remind people to keep their dogs under control when they get their tickets. It's so great that dogs are allowed in the gondolas and it would be sad if a small minority ruined it for the responsible majority.

Wildcat Ski Resort is one of the most interesting ski resorts in NH, and possibly all of New England: The views from the ski trails are spectacular; This area is within the white mountain national forest operating with special permit & as a result you see no massive condo developments, hotels or houses surrounding the area.....there is nothing but beautiful forest and mountains. The trails are old new england - narrower and winding. There are trails for all ski levels. The people are great the resort/snow is well maintained. The single base lodge is another classic with good food and good vibe. Higher elevation matters in terms of better conditions and longer viable season. Highly Recommended. I almost hate to do this because it might crowd the place more. Weekends can be crowded, weekdays are the very best way to go.
