This is a wonderful golf course, very different to the expansive ones with lots of character and charm. I never get tired of playing here and what makes it even better is the Golf Pro Bob for lessons. Excellent teacher and great fun to play at Eagle Mountain. Also enjoy the 19th, can recommend the Fish and Chips.

We stayed near the course for three nights so decided to play nine holes. We were charged $102 for nine holes, two sets of clubs (which were very poor - unplayable in fact) and a cart. This is a very short course which is in a truly unloved condition. Tee boxes were mud in most cases, fairways were rough unkempt and in some cases water logged. Not an enjoyable experience and left us feeling ripped off when compared to the course we played at St Johnsbury where the course was stunning, the clubs were useable and with cart still cost $20 less than Eagle Mountain. EM could actually be a lovely place to play if some money was spent on sorting out the issues - hope the owners read this!

The eagle mountain house is located about half way up the hill in Jackson Village. It is a fairly old property that is showing its age a little but is still a great place for the value. The restaurant is exceptional

We travel to Eagle Mountain House for weekends away and longer stay in July. The staff is so awesome and so helpful from registering in and any other info you need happening in Jackson. The breakfast and dinners are fantastic. Couldn't ask for anything better and the view sitting on the front porch overlooking the golf course while sitting in a rocking chair is just beautiful!! We always get a suite while there and it is always so clean and tidy. We always just feel so comfortable and right at home!!!

We played the course this past Sunday morning and the views were spectacular, fall foliage was just about peaked and even though it was cloudy and a little rainy, the scenery was awesome ! The course however, is a disappointment. $45 for 18 holes (twice around) with a cart is way too much. The only good thing about it is that the greens were in very good condition. Most of the tee boxes were dirt, hardly a hint of grass on most of them, and many of the fairways are hard packed soil with almost no grass. The tee for the 6th hole is a driving range mat, which is not good.

While staying at the mountain house over a long weekend we thought we try out this hole course. The price was a little higher than we would normally expect but for those with a lot of time they do say unlimited rounds. Having played one round, I'm not sure I would have bothered with a second. The starter/pro very friendly. The carts are included in the price and are electric. The course itself was built on farm meadows and it shows. The fairways and greens have mixtures of grasses and the course is very open. Some interesting holes though as the terrain in some places is steep and hilly. Some beautiful views of the white mountains. We had a good time but the round was overpriced for what you get.

We first golfed at this small, par-3, 9-hole golf course during peak foliage season in Jackson, NH. The scenery was stunning. The course itself is compact with the tees for some holes almost alarming close to the pins for others. On the 4th hole there is a hill that obstructs the tee from the green. There's a large bell in a tree for players to ring when they clear the green. Staff and patrons were exceptionally nice. Lunch in the dining room of the nearby resort buildings was very good. The resort is an impressive wooden structure. A gorgeous, stone-filled river runs merely feet from Carter Notch Road on the short drive up from Jackson. All in all a pleasant place for a low-key golf game. It beats the crowds in North Conway!
