One of my favorite places in town! So beautiful, unique and classic. Lots of great antiques and new things as well. Such a great gem in town

There are very pretty things in this store, but it has lots of decorative items, lotions, soaps, candles. It is light on antiques.

My companion always insists on stopping here when we visit Peterborough. She always finds some small, unique treasure. This shop carries items you cannot find anywhere else, like rare first-issue books of children's classics, miniature plants, old textiles, old photographs of people whom relatives never claimed, toys from the distant past. The collection and arrangement changes each time we visit.

I just went in to look at a possible birthday gift for a friend. I ended up finding a small gift and I paid way less than what I thought I might have paid for it. The store is fairly well organized.

I am so ashamed that I had never been in this store until just the last week or so. There are so many things to see And to buy. What a neat place to buy a unique gift for a friend or to spoil yourself or to find that one perfect piece that will fit in the living room. There's another thing that is important about this place too. The owners are as nice as can be and do everything to make you feel comfortable in their store.

This is my absolute favorite little shop! The location on the river is so tranquil. The staff is always super super friendly. Place is more expensive than most antique stores in the area, but you can find some deals as well.

If you're ever in Peterborough, which I must say is a super cute town, you must stop by this shop. It's a collection of antiques and new items. Lots and lots of interesting things for sale. The owner has a really good eye and it's worth a stop just to see how it's organized.

As a collector and dealer, I constantly visit Antiques & vintage shops throughout the world. Bowerbird is one of the very nicest shops I've ever seen. The layout, displays, store flow, atmosphere and of course the owners are all incredible. There's a terrific selection of vintage and antiques to please every shopper--furniture, ephemera, unique decorative antiques, tools, books, you name it, all perfectly displayed throughout this charming place. My wife and I were enthralled with this shop--and make sure you look out the back windows for some beautiful views!!

A really nice shop to wander through and see very unusual antiques and glassware. The displays are terrific and inspire you to change things up. They also have the nicest plants set in terrariums and n display. It is set in the center of a small shopping area that is fun to browse!

This must be my favorite place in Peterborough. Items are a little eclectic yet useful, as shop owners often show (and tell) you through their clever displays and groupings. It's not packed wall-to-wall yet there's plenty to look at and buy, and, again owing to the artful display, I am drawn into corners, drawers, shelves and so forth. Bowerbird always stirs my imagination. Bigger pieces are usually beyond my budget but pricing for these and generally compares favorably to other nearby shops; that said, I can almost always find some small treasure. Shop keepers are friendly & out of the way unless needed; then they are as helpful and attentive as you can wish, right up to thoughtfully wrapping your "find" to take with. Put Bowerbird and Friends on your list - you won't be disappointed!
