We visited after a cold wet day at the local Renaissance Faire, the food was a large amount and very good, we have enough for breakfast before we head out in the morning! Would definitely go again if we are in the area. You can definitely split an order.

Great food and they give you so much it's hard to eat it all .Be prepared to take some home. The Cuban sandwich and onion rings are awesome.

We used to frequent this bar almost weekly. The food was great and so was the service, that is when Natalie was still bartending. Don’t get me the wrong, the food is still quite good. However the service has gone downhill. We highly doubt we will be back. The bartender did not acknowledge us and had an overall rude demeanor. We had been seated for over 10 minutes and this night was a rare occasion where the bar area was not nearly as packed as it usually is. There were still dirty glasses and dishes in front of us that entire time from the previous patrons! She did not even wipe down the bar after clearing the glasses and dishes.
We had a difficult time getting her attention for food orders and for drink refills (could not make any eye contact with her as she would not even look in our general direction and would just walk by us even though we had empty glasses). We had to flag her down for our check. She was more concerned with having conversations with other people than serving. It is an absolute shame because we really did enjoy coming here. And I wish I could say it was an isolated incident but we had the same bartender the last 3 times we went. It was the same awful service each time.

The incidents that took place in this establishment were SOOO outrageous, only to be topped by the arrogance of the manager and COMPLETE SILENCE from owner after requesting a return phone call seven days ago. Please allow me to explain..... I met family there for what was a long anticipated celebration dinner. With limited seating, we found ourselves (3 people) sitting at the bar. We were greeted in timely manner and offered menus. One of our family members has a life threatening allergy to dairy- both by mere skin contact as well as ingestion. She made the server aware of the severe allergy and subsequently asked the server to please confirm with cook that their marinara sauce contained no dairy (cheese) as she was interested in having spaghetti with marinara sauce. Living life with such a disability is definitely not easy, but like all people with disabilities, no one likes sitting on the side lines.
The server NEVER came back to relay the chefs answer, rather a plate of spaghetti with marinara and two large pieces of garlic bread on top was brought to her, along with the meals for the family. Not knowing if the marinara was safe to eat, we all waited for approximately 10 minutes until the server made her way back down the bar to us so we could confirm that she followed thru and addressed her allergy with the chef. She replied, " yeah, your good, there is no dairy in your meal". All of us sitting there knew that was not entirely true because garlic bread is made with butter which is a dairy. Our family member asked that we not make a fuss about it as she felt embarrassed that it was becoming topic of conversation with guests at the bar. She simply picked up the bread from her meal and sat aside. It was quite evident that she was concerned by the painful selection of spaghetti strands from the center of her dish that have no contact with the garlic bread. After only 3-4 spoonfuls the look of alarm took over and she was running to the bathroom with her eppi pen. Although I cannot answer for everyone, most individuals would find it difficult to sit there and continue eating their own meal while their loved one struggles to breathe. Knowing that we had to quickly get her to the hospital we ask for the check and paid. No one had time to eat their meals and we promptly left. After arriving home approximately 2 1/5 hours later, I contacted the restaurant to speak with the owner. A gentleman ( I use that term loosely) who addressed himself as Peter, manager, had absolutely no empathy for the situation that took place under his watch, rather, was annoyed and arrogant. He wanted to know why I was addressing it hours later as he likes to handle things in the restaurant when it's happening and he would have been happy to comp her meal. Did he really just say that?!?!? His mere suggestion that a life-and-death emergency take a back seat is revolting at best. Furthermore, was not impressed with his chuckle as he indicated to me that the garlic bread that they placed on her meal had parmesan cheese all over it too. Could it possibly get any worse? Of course it did, Peter proceeded to tell me that they have a small kitchen and WILL NOT be responsible for cross contamination so if people have allergies we really don't want them eating here. Two points of contention to that statement..number one, it was not cross-contamination. It was complete neglect for a human being. The $$$ meant more than the life of a patron. Number two; disabilities come in all types and kinds. The wheelchair ramp outside your door is there so you can operate as a business. It entitles all people be treated fairly without prejudice. The Fair Disabilities Act, protects people with disabilities from feeling shamed to walk our their doors. If there was a concern about cross-contamination it should have been addressed as soon as we got in there and ask the server to talk to the chef NOT AFTER your total negligence and disregard deprived another human being from the very breath that they needed to survive. He tried to smooth things over by offering a 15.00 gift card ( equivalent to price of her meal) be mailed out. Insulted by his offer, I asked if I could kindly speak to the owner whom I was told was busy. Asked to have a return call, he abruptly asked me, "what do you want from us". I explain that their mistake ruined three meals, and respectfully was requesting a refund of the entire bill, 49.00 which he laughed off and replied, " why would I comp three meals when there was only one problem?" Clearly, he missed the gravity of the situation, but the last time I pulled in the lot, the signage read John and Molly's restaurant, not Peter's restaurant, therefore, I believe a call from the owner was truly warranted. Sadly, they disagreed. Please stand up for all people struggling with disabilities and take your business elsewhere. Let John and Molly's restaurant know their treatment is unacceptable😥

This is a place that is good for a night out with friends or family. You can sit in their dining area or find a seat along the bar. Their menu offers something for everything and the portions are very generous. I'd recommend checking out John & Molly's, the owners are doing a great job!

Alittle bright in there for my taste but the service and the food were great! We had the prime rib special and it was melt in your mouth. We will go back!

We knew when we drove in the parking lot at 5:30 & it was packed that this would be a great place. We sat down at the bar to wait for our table and immediately made friends with the nice people there and Courtney, the amazing bartender. She made us feel like we were the most important guests ever.
We ended up getting a table (otherwise would have eaten at the bar!). We ordered Roast Beef Dinner specials and the Steak & Shrimp Scampi entree. Amazing food, amazing amount of food!
Don't skip dessert, that's equally good.
What a fun way to bid farewell to our son, heading off on deployment for a year. We hoped for a wonderful restaurant for a last dinner, and this was the perfect place!
Whether it's a special occasion or a midweek dinner out, this place is great. Oh yes! The most amazing array of beers on tap were found here too!

John and Molly's chicken dishes used to be wonderful every time. Today I was there for the first time in half a year without realizing it was sold. My chicken in the marsala was rubbery. I complained to the waitress and someone came out, I assume the owner, to tell me it was exactly the same chicken as always and they would make me another one, and it would not take long. It then took so long my husband was completely done with his meal and we were bored waiting for it. And when it came, it was almost just as rubbery, couldn't even get my fork through some of the pieces. The sauce was tasteless, not like the yummy marsala sauce that used to serve, and had fairly raw pieces of garlic in it. No one came back to see if i was satisfied, and i was charged for it although I left it uneaten. They still have large portions and reasonable prices so I'm sure there are people who will be happy eating there, but anyone with a discerning palate should stay away. We will not be back and I am very disappointed. John and Molly, I miss you

I was at John and Molly’s last Wednesday and on Saturday. What a tale of two different meals. Wednesday was great. Saturday was horrible. I’ve always had amazing food there even though the environment is not the greatest and you can smell the sweaty bar patrons. You can always depend on a great meal except for this past Saturday. I ordered broiled stuffed flounder and my friend ordered the chop steak. We started with our favorite French onion soups. Both soups had crunchy black seeds in it. The seeds had no taste. We sent the soup back and the chef said it was pepper. I DONT Think so. I’ve had this soup hundreds of times. I never had black crunchy bits in it. I thought it might be chia seeds but I never found out. Then the ice cold chopped steak came out and my dry as the Sahara desert broiled flounder. ( since the menu no longer has their incredible broiled stuffed flounder ) it was barely palatable. Both baked potatoes were not cooked through. I sent mine back and another uncooked baked potato came out. I was very happy with my seafood bisque that replaced my French onion soup.
I hope this is not the new norm for John and Molly’s because if it is I’m done going there. They get one more chance in my book and then I’m done
One great note. The service is always amazing. We ask for Heather and she does a phenomenal job and is a very caring sweet waitress. Thank God for her or the meal would have been a total failure.
Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion based on my meal on 11/10/18.
