Compared to Bradley beach in terms of ease in walking along the shore, Bradley is best given that the sand is dense. However, the view of Victorian houses lining Ocean Avenue and all perpendicular avenues is just lovely🌹❣️
The houses have intricate woodwork adorning them.
I’m certain that it’s tough and costly to maintain given its proximity to salt water mist and breeze but majority of it look so uniquely attractive!

ocean grove beach is a family friendly beach with bathrooms and outdoor showers. they clean the beach every night.

Beach kept clean; free parking along the boards; $10. daily beach pass; restrooms, can rent umbrella, chairs and they even have a food "booth" right on the beach. This is a "dry" beach.

Beautiful - from morning till evening... music in nearby pavilion. Note that bikes only from 3-10 a.m. on the boardwalk, and Ocean Grove is a dry town - but Asbury Park, Bel Mar, Spring Lake, etc. are all very close (next towns over)...

Beautiful beach. You can rent cots and umbrellas reasonably on the beach. Waves are not wild. It’s great for kids. Sandy, family- oriented. We even witnessed a baptism

OG beach is clean, easy to access, lifeguards attentive. I feel very safe swimming directly in front of the lifeguards. Always a great getaway to town of OG.

Lovely beach and the surf was amazing!
They beach is clean. The ocean did have some plastic washing ashore and that is sad but the beach itself was very clean.

This is a small beach town with a mix of locals and out of town visitors. You need to walk into Asbury Park to find a decent selection of eateries. No where near enough public restrooms or lockers! and very limited parking.

Big, clean beach with lifeguards and a dock. Bathrooms are close by. You need a pass or an app to pay to get on the beach. (Viply)

Great beach, very well maintained & excellent Lifeguard Corp. Clean restrooms, changing rooms, and several entrances have showers for you to wash off the sand & saltwater.

What time do passes become required to be on the beach on Sunday morning?
Are we allowed on the beach for sunrise and then buy a day pass when they’re open for sale?
Do you offer free admission for veterans if my husband brings his discharge papers to show?
What address should we use for GPS to find free parking close to the beach?
Hopefully we can enjoy a day trip to Ocean Grove this Sunday!! The weather looks perfect ( so far)!

I'm trying to plan a beach trip for the day on March 20, 2021. My concern is finding public restrooms so early in the season and during Covid. Can anyone tell me if there will be any options for us in Ocean Grove - preferably close to the beach but somewhere else in town would also be an option. Thanks!

When we were there in October, they were not open.
Will you need a pass on Wednesday, September 23,2020? And, if so can you buy it at the beach? ( do not have Smart phone)

Free parking is everywhere along Main St and Ocean Pathway. Ocean Grove is small enough it doesn't really matter where you park, walking is not far. Free parking also along Board walk and at end.
