I got my PADI open water at Bali reef several times. Top order. Good guidance and nice dives made. I recommend it to everyone!

J’ai validé mon padi open water avec Ruben, il parle très bien français! Amazing experience zen and secure. Les cours durent 3 jours, les plongées sont incroyables à Tulamben. Bali reef divers ont aussi un office à Amed!

Recently completely my PADI Open Water with Bali Reef Divers- was excellent from start to finish. Really lovely team who made me feel very welcome. The dive sites are full of beautiful marine life and I was lucky enough to see a turtle close up. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable (great air con) and the food decent and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend for others- I hope to return one day.

From the communications before the trip to the pick up , and the diving experience itself.
Everything is excellent.
environment is clean enough.
And the instructor is patient and perfect.
Highly recommended if you want to have a diving try out burning the vacation.

There are innumerable dive shops in Tulamben. One of the reasons we chose Bali Reef Divers was because they also had a shop in Amed where there are several dive sites. They drove us down every day that we wanted to dive that area.
So, we were glad that we chose them. But in the end it had much more to do with their kindness, pleasantness and willing to work with us than anything else.
Accordingly, should you choose to dive Tulamben or Amed, we would recommend this shop.

Ik was bang om te duiken na een eerdere slechte ervaring. Toch wou ik het nog eens proberen en ik heb geen moment spijt van mijn beslissing! Discover scuba diving gedaan met Bali Reef Divers en dit super goed verlopen . Darta, de Dive master heeft alles goed uitgelegd en was erg geduldig . We hebben na een sessie in het zwembad 2 duiken gedaan , in de Coral Garden en bij het scheepswrak de Liberty. Beiden erg mooi! We zijn super tevreden van Bali Reef Divers. Nog eens bedankt Darta, Alix en de rest van het team!

Super cours de plongée pour mon open water avec Alix à Bali Reef Diver.
Elle a été vraiment claire dans ses explications et m'a permis de commencer la plongée en toute sérénité malgré mon appréhension.
C'était un plaisir d'aller plonger dans une bonne ambiance.
Les centres de Amed et Tulamben sont vraiment bien équipés et le matériel en très bon état.

Trying to organize my trip with a bit of advanced planning, I had the privilege of dealing with Alix — the manager, she was prompt, friendly and professional! Extremely satisfied with her organization and communication as she allowed me to get a head start on some of the theory for my official PADI open water diver certification.
Once there, she and all her staff were super friendly and helpful, but special thanks go to Darta (or D’Artagnan — as I liked to call him) my instructor (hopefully I spelt the name correctly). He is skilled, knowledgeable, patient, and a wonderful teacher! (And a good laugh too).
The area is tranquil and the dives are spectacular! Although I had only previously done one intro dive, on the Great Barrier Reef of Australia (which was magnificent), it was also the general consensus - from more experienced divers - that this is a great dive site!
In short, I would definitely recommend Bali Reef Divers Tulamben to any new or experienced diver!!!

Un ami nous a conseillé ce club de plongée. Après avoir échangé avec Alix la responsable Elle a tout de suite compris ce que nous voulions pour les plongées. Nous avons eu la chance de faire nos plongées avec Koman. Il est rassurant, calme, bienveillant, Tout ce que l'on peut attendre d'un moniteur de plongée.
Si je reviens à bali Je replonge avec eux sans soucis.

Had to hastily reschedule our diving after the earthquake as we were booked to go to the Gili Islands. After a search around we decided on coming to Tulamben for 5 days to get our son certified (he was 11 and had done the confined water dives in the UK) and get some diving done for the rest of the family (2 AOW adults and a Junior OW 13 year old).
We contacted a couple of dive centres in Tulamben but Alix at Bali Reef was quick to respond to all email questions and dealt with us well so we came here.
The teaching was good for my son who found the learning easy and the diving post skills good. He was qualified within two days whilst the rest of us went on some dives of our own.
The reefs are nice with a good range of fish and the water temperature was a steady 28C. Turtles were seen on one dive which was a highlight as was a boat dive which I took with my newly qualified son into a slow easy drift.
Tulamben isn’t stuffed with dive sites - we did three repeatedly but there is enough there to keep you entertained for a couple of dives.
The wreck is great but really busy - any dive shop in Bali will sell tours to the Liberty and so it does get very crowded - if we’d had more time either an early morning or night dive would have been good to see the wreck with far fewer divers.
All of the guides that we were sent out with were friendly and very knowledgable, knowing where all the haunts of the unusual fish were. They also looked after us well underwater keeping a keen eye on the kids to make sure all was OK.
Bali Reef Divers is set in a hotel with a restaurant which was good for snacks between dives and post dive beers. Good value with good kit if you don’t have your own - the only slight gripe I have is the tiny saving you make when bringing your own gear, although I guess saving money is not the main reason you have your own kit.
Would fully recommend Bali Reef Divers for both learning and qualified divers, although you may need to move around from Tulamben to get a better spread of dives. I believe they have a shuttle bus that goes to their sister centre in Amed in the morning so if you are here for more than a few days you can get a wider selection of dive sites.
