My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I drove down to Farmington and met our friends and their grandkids at the Civic Center to see The Wizard of Oz. I love professional, regional theatre! FCMT delivered a great show!! I’m sorry we didn’t make it down for Damn Yankees as people were still talking about the phenomenal dance numbers! WofOz was fantastic. The principal roles were wonderful and the ensemble delivered! I loved the dance numbers. I was impressed by the combination of professional actors from NY and the local actors including quite a showing of young actors for Emerald City. The concession prices were more than fair and that was a nice relief!
I understand that FCMT hosts summer shows and at least one fall show. Additionally, I saw them on tour for a Christmas show which is how I first heard of them.
Bottom line, if you live in the Farmington/Durango area or if you are traveling through, this company is great.
