I spent a little over an hour in the Museum while in Albuquerque. I had planned more time, but I was able to get through the Exhibitions in this timeframe. The “Walk through Time” exhibit was very informative and well put together. The Space exhibit also had some good information. The “Chocolate” exhibit didn’t really offer that much for me. Overall, I enjoyed the Museum but was left wanting more exhibitions. The cost was appropriate for the size of the Museum and I would definitely recommend a visit when in Albuquerque. If you’re going with small kids, you’ll probably spent more time as there is a great deal for the kids to do Museum.

This is such a neat little *no cost* museum. Several interactive exhibits, all working, and the fish and reptiles on display were great. This was a great way to spend an hour (kids ages 14, 12, and 6) while enjoying downtown Las Cruces.

This museum is very well designed! The staff is friendly and all of the interactive exhibits were in working order. This is a perfect museum for grandparents to take their grandchildren for a fun afternoon where both can learn and play together.
Our 6 and 7 year old grandsons thoroughly enjoyed playing and learning together and we enjoyed answering their questions and learning along with them.
The museum is larger than one would think from looking outside and it offers a range of nature and science exhibits relevant to all ages.

We enjoyed the exhibits and the staff is friendly. Easy to access, good parking, and other museums are close by if you want to visit them.

Open Tuesday to Saturday 10 am to 430pm this is a family friendly museum. Your be able to learn the natural environment of new Mexico and chihuahua desert. They have fun things children can do and is worth checking out there's monthly news letters to see what special events they have each month. My family loves coming here they really have cool live animals and a awesome planet display. Is free but your welcome to donate money which always goes to a good cost.

We thoroughly enjoyed this museum. I particularly liked the fossil animal tracks and other geological information. There is also a great planetary/astronomy exhibit and a life sciences exhibit. There are hands on activities for the kids. We will definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed the way in which this museum is so accessible to the public. A lot of helpful docents on hand as well.

We enjoyed our time at the museum. It's free to get in and a fun little place to spend an hour in. It's attached to an art museum that was equally as fun and enjoyable.

Good displays for a small musuem. Well worth the trip. It is free!!! Great place to learn about the Prehistoric Trackways National Monument before going on a hike.

I really wasn’t up to see another nature and science museum but I loved this one. It would be so good for children. I especially wanted to see the pre-historic footprints that I have been discovered…and I was not disappointed…if I ever get in that area again I am going to call the BLM and book a tour to go to the site.

I don't know, I couldn't find a website for the museum. I know they are closed Feb 19th for President's Day. This is their phone # if you want to call them: (575) 522-3120. It's a very good museum.
