This store is a true gem. Great hand made native drums and an amazing staff. We had a lovely time at the store and the road trip from Santa Fe is beautiful.

It was closed. I think they sell lovely things. We walk around the Indian tents. We got some nice pictures.

This place has everything..even if you don't purchase anything, it's fun to see all the drums in their back warehouse etc. Cute teepees outside the store too

Don’t miss it, drums are a work of art. And lot of other local crafts. Very friendly staff let’s us watch the drums being made

Wonderful stop! Very friendly people. Very interesting to see drums being made. Amazing variety of art. Best shop we visited on Santa Fe trip. So happy we stopped. Cannot say enough about the people who work here. Would definitely come back here again and again!

It seems like a forgotten warehouse in the middle of nowhere, & then you enter a charmed space. We were lucky to be able to see some of the drum makers stretching the hide for the drums & were blown away with the vast array of rugs, drums, carvings, etc. It was easy for our group of 5 to each find something authentic to buy & to remember our visit to NM. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Taos Drum might appear off the beaten path but it's a definite museum of native & historical merchandise worthy of a visit.

We've been coming to Taos for years and this was our first visit. This place was amazing! Beautiful handcrafted drums, pillow covers, decorative home goods and jewwlry. There was a very nice gentleman making a drum and he allowed us to touch the cow skin he was using. They also allowed us to hit the Thunder drum which was so cool. It was huge! They have a couple of canoes they were building, too. They had goods from Mexico and Peru as well as local craftsmen. Don't forget to visit the Teepees set up outside. Worth a stop!

Excellent little store with unique finds. The customer service was outstanding and very hospitable to us. Great history shared during our visit. Found a lot of gifts for family back home. Highly recommend this stop when in Taos!

This place is huge! We watched the gal stretching hides, making drums, lampshades. The cashier made the porcupine quill earrings. She named the artists that painted drums, lamps, dolls,etc. So many beautiful rugs, all sizes, reasonable prices. Most items are locally made plus some from Peru, Guatemala, Mexico and more. Don’t miss this experience.

Taos Drums is located outside of Taos proper and therefore I think many people are missing out on this wonderful experience. The lady who was working there on a Sunday was extremely knowledgeable. They have so many Indian-related items and drums of all shapes and sizes. And if you want a unique souvenir to take home then this is the place. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
