I can’t say how much we enjoyed this tour! Chris & Curtis were the BEST! Extremely informative, & never made us feel rushed & just pushed through. Answered all questions, while keeping it friendly & fun. A definite must do if coming to this area!👍🏻

This tour was amazing as we learned so much about the future of where travel will be going. We brought our 11 and 14 year old with us and they loved it! Being able to drive down the runway, check out the fire equipment and get a VIP look at what is to come really opened there eyes and excitement to the future. Chris was our wonderful tour guide. So much love for what he does and really held our attention through the whole tour and kept us on our toes. This is a must see for anyone planning a trip to White Sands as you can check our Hatch (Sparky’s for a great burger and memorable time) on your way as well. You won’t be disappointed!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this tour as I did not know much about Spaceport. Our tour guides, Chris and Curtis, were fantastic! Chris was extremely knowledgeable and seemed to be able to answer just about any question the group threw at him. Though quiet, Curtis was a wildman! As soon as he realized we would take pictures wherever he suggested, he started just coming up to us to show us things off to the side. He played along with all of our fooling around and it was so much fun. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Visited Truth or Consequences for a day while vacationing in Las Cruces. Did the a.m. Spaceport tour, picnic by the Rio Grande River and a 2 pm reservation at the Riverbend Hot Springs. Made for a fun day in T or C.
Plan ahead especially if wanting a wknd tour for either activity. They are popular.
Spaceport tour was interesting. Wasn’t sure what to expect. We live in Houston so are used to NASA/Johnson Space Center. Nowhere near that experience, but this was still very interesting in a different way. The guides personality sure helped make the tour even better. There’s not a lot to actually see out there, but they did a great job telling us a lot about what happens on the vast acres of land.
Van ride to Spaceport had an informative movie and we stopped at Elephant Butte Dam along the way for photos. The drive itself was scenic.
Glad we took the tour!

Did the Spaceport America tour with Final Frontier Tours recently and thought it was terrific. Curtis and Chris were the the guides for the tour and were extremely knowledgeable about the facility, history and the companies using it. There was not a question that the group asked that they could not answer! They are also really great job at making sure you get lots of pictures and have a terrific time.
There are some restrictions about what you can see with the Virgin Galactic latest ships but that does not take away from the experience. A must do if you are in the area and a space aficionado. They make it fun and interactive.

We have been wanting to visit Spaceport America for over a year and our wish finally came true in May 2021. If you are having any doubts as to whether this would be a worthwhile experience, you should remove any doubt now. This Spaceport America Experience Tour is exactly that, an experience. It gives you access to tour Spaceport Operations Center (SOC), the Spaceway, the exterior of the Terminal Hangar, and Astronaut Walk before going inside to have a nearly opaque view of the Hangar space where you will see VMS Eve (the carrier mothership for SS2) and VSS Unity (SS2 itself) through a foggy veil. This experience was absolutely worth the wait, time, drive and expense. Due to COVID restrictions, tours actually meet onsite, so you are able to drive your vehicle to Spaceport America before transferring to a tour van. With Virgin Galactic reaching space tourism in the very near future, I highly recommend booking this experience with the chance that you might actually to see a live SpaceShipTwo launch.

The 22 person delegation from Germany was universally happy for this tour. It was interesting even though there were no launch activities at the time. This is not a walk-in tour since it is a high security area. Interesting activities for teens.

The new company that is doing the tour did a great job.
Curtis did a excellent job of taking us out to the space center and back to T or C, with a few stops in between. He was able to answer all of our question and a bit more.
Although not much going on there yet, we had great view of the physical plant, a tour of the fire department and a visit to the tourist center in the main building.
In June the Spaceport America Cup pits a number of colleges and universities in a rocket challenge.

The company that ran the tours went bankrupt, and they've been trying to get up and running with another company for months. It's still not happened.
The project is a quarter of a billion dollar folly, even Space X pulled out due to differences with management.
Armed guards patrol the place and you won't get beyond the kiosk, but you can (despite the guards advising against it) drive round for view of the hanger building.
Not at all worth the hour drive from Truth Or Consequences, wish I'd taken the advice of my hotel owner and spent the day in a hot spring instead!
