Great zoo, really accessible & bright. A variety of animals including ours favourites - red panda (so active on the day we were there), penguins & otters.
The walk through were managed well by staff who had fantastic knowledge of the animals & encouraging interactions responsibly.

Enjoyed my visit yet again to Peak Wildlife Park and at the end of the visit, I upgraded my ticket to annual pass. Got some great footage and pics of the bush dogs, red squirrels, red pandas, polar bears, wallabies etc. Would highly recommend a visit. I am also a Youtuber, so please subscribe to my channel - @karlsmith25, so that you can see videos I have done on the park.

After recommendations decided to take granddaughter here for a few hours .was given a map , but we just followed everyone else. Place is spotless we took our own picnic, plenty of benches & tables to eat at .the animals are well looked after & the staff was happy to chat & talk about the animals, we did laugh at the naughty goats , Daffodil she took a map off a little boy in his pushchair the staff member tried to retrieve it lol it didn't happen 😀 saw polar bears, zebras, walabys, penguins, meerkat, lemurs, goats, you actually walk in the enclosure & see the animals & stroke them if you want , would definitely recommend we loved it

Me and my fiancé took our infant here last December when it was snowing and it was lovely. The staff were really friendly. There were polar bears and wallaby’s, we even got to go in with the wallaby’s at no extra cost and got to stroke them! Amazing little hidden gem, would definitely go back again!

Easy to find, plenty of parking, very clean and tidy all round. Got to see all the animals bar red squirrels but we are from Scotland so can see them at home. Animals looked well and content.
Took our own picnic so didn't experience the cafe.

Park was great and the polar bears were the highlight of the Day. The downside was the cost of the food. Sandwiches were more expensive than the motorway services en route.

We are annual pass holders at Peak Wildlife and have been visiting since the days it was Blackbrook Zoo. The improvements to the place are immense and you can very easily spend all day here. The animals are well looked after and the keepers work very hard.
Our recent visit was specifically to see the new additions (red pandas and bush dogs) plus attend the Bluey show. My children really enjoyed the show and had a lot of fun. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the bush dogs or the red pandas as the weather turned and they were hiding in the trees and bushes. However we decided to visit the following day which was better weather and saw the lovely bush dogs, they were really cute 🙂.
I would also like to mention that on the Friday a male member of staff who was working near the squirrels and dik diks was brilliant. I couldn't see the dik diks and he pointed them out to me at the back of the enclosure. He was very informative when he was telling me about them and really knew his stuff (if I remember rightly, they were called Croissant and Rocket). I was also impressed with a young lady working in the shop on the Friday. The previous day my older daughter had spotted a lovely deer necklace that she liked for her birthday. The following day we decided to buy it and unfortunately there was none left. The young lady in the shop went out of her way to get the necklace for us from the stock room. My daughter was very happy, many thanks for this. It was brilliant customer service.
Unfortunately we did encounter a negative incident with another member of staff who was in the goat enclosure. We saw that a goat was eating a bush near their enclosure (as per the picture attached) and assumed this was allowed as no one was stopping it. So my children gave it some. Next thing the member of staff came over and shouted at us to stop feeding the goats. Fair enough if this is not allowed but the way she spoke to us was horrible. I note that a previous reviewer has said she fed the goats so I'm unsure why this was allowed when we weren't? I think this needs to be made clearer on the enclosure if they aren't allowed to be fed and indeed they need to be stopped from eating the bush. My partner also visited with our children on the Sunday while I was at work and said the same member of staff that was in the goats was in the wallaby enclosure shouting at other people to get off the grass. I know that you can't do this, but new visitors may not be aware and I think to shout at them aggressively isn't showing a positive view of the park. I think she needs to learn some better customer service skills!
Overall the majority of the staff here are brilliant and there are many lovely animals to see as well as a small soft play area, sand pit, play park, zip line and bouncy castle. I definitely recommend to anyone thinking of visiting.

What a fab day out we had such a lovely zoo with a great little park park for the kids and a zip line, indoor play areas etc
We came on a pretty hot day and I think some animals felt as hot as we did as we didn’t get to some but we still had a great day seeing many animals and getting to interact with so many petting and feeding the goats, sheep, wallabies, deer etc
A highlight was definitely the polar bears 🐻❄️
We took a picnic they have many places to sit inside and out with umbrellas to shade away from the sun around the park.
We had refreshments which were lovely which were priced a little high but that’s like everywhere you go now. Good coffee ☕️
It’s not the biggest zoo but it’s lovely and the animals look well looked after and the staff are great.

After seeing their social media and being impressed by how interactive and caring they are with the animals, I finally came to Peak park. The price has gone down from when we first looked which was a welcome suprise. The park is bigger than expected, but the animals are spread out. I must agree with other reviewers where they state some animal enclosures overlap others and there’s some gates you think you can walk through but you can’t. We thoroughly enjoyed petting the goats and wallaby’s and was honoured to see the polar bears and red panda. Unfortuantly we didn’t get to see any red squirrels. All staff we encountered were friendly and approachable, and the park is lovely and clean. We enjoyed our day, but considering I have wanted to go for such a long time I didn’t come home buzzing with excitement. Definitely worth a trip all the same. Thank you :)

Do everyone still have to book to visit I am a local resident
เขียนเมื่อ 20 สิงหาคม 2021
As far as I am aware, there is still a booking system in place, at least for time slots. Have a look at their website, it’s an easy process to book both times lots and tickets. Hope this helps.

Is it suitsble for wheelchair user
เขียนเมื่อ 12 กันยายน 2019
Would this be suitable for 4 adults or is it only for people with children?
เขียนเมื่อ 14 พฤษภาคม 2019
It’s for everyone. Adults perhaps won’t make a beeline for the bouncy castle but everyone lives meerkats! Nice cafe too!
เขียนเมื่อ 15 พฤษภาคม 2019
Wondered if the park is suitable for wheelchairs, i.e. fairly level.
เขียนเมื่อ 22 เมษายน 2019
I’d say yes, there are ramps and wide doors plus disabled access toilets. I used to push round a pushchair quite easily

Yes, you can. There are picnic tables outside and in a covered area.
