There is nothing like a mall on a hot day with parking close to the big stores and restaurants. I went to the JC Pennys which had a couple of floors, and I also went to the clairs there. There is also a build a bear for kids. They had some choices of restaurants and also a food court. I would look on the website for the hours for the week.

Big mall with lots of options. Spent 2 hrs at Macy s. Was expecting to see more offers in other shops like MK for example. BUT the majority of prices were the standard one. I wouldn't go again if I m behind good bargain deals.

Not my first review on this mall but it is always a nice shopping experience.
A bit crowded on weekends and tables at Dining District go fast. The plus side is during the warmer months outdoor tables are available for lunch patrons. Starbucks has left and there are no other coffee spots to replace it. The Cinnabon place has coffee but that's about it. David's Cookies closed up shop (we could not find it) and they have a mini outlet but the cookies there are not the same quality as when the store was there. We love the Lego store and staff there are very helpful. It is nice that there is a fancy restaurant (Grand Luxe Cafe) there. The mall is located conveniently off the parkway so getting there was easy for us.

This place brings back a lot of memories. They are so great, I'm surprised the other shopping centers don't entertain a class action.

Just dirty and crowded. The bathrooms were horrendous. In every sink, the water was running. No soap and the hand dryers didn't work, no paper towels. We went to Macy's which was still worse than the Mall. There wasn't one sanitizer station that hand sanitizer. Clothes all over worse than a teenager's room. This is one of our first ventures out since the quarantine and only went cause we need eyeglasses. GROSS!!! FYI the Lenscrafters area was clean and maintained.

If you like a big mall this is a great place. I find myself getting dizzy and uncomfortable. There is too much glass and artificial lighting. I need fresh outdoor air. If that is what you need too, try some of the local stores in Garden City and Carle Place or smaller mall in Westbury ( Trader Joe etc)

Many options and a g amazing variety of stores for people of all ages. Some of the stores include Morphe, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters and Baked My Melissa. Not only do they have a ton of stores but they also have unique dining places. A very nice and clean mall that I totally recommend!

קניון ענק כמו שהאמריקאים יודעים ,יקר מאד יש חנות בשם jcp עם מותגים מוכרים במחירים זולים .היינו בתקופת חג ההודיה אז היה עוד יותר זול .מומלץ לבקר ולהעביר את הזמן ביום גשום .

As a British tourist this seems to be a great place to head for when I’m in NYC for a few days, however, can anyone advise best/safest travel from Manhattan area please?

Sorry for the late reply. If you are heading into Manhattan from this mall or vice versa... it will take about 20 minutes by car/taxi. I stayed at a hotel near this mall and made my way into Manhattan by driving as i had driven down from Toronto Ontario.
I would make my way to this mall from Manhattan again.

The Garden City Hotel has a shuttle that brings their guest to Roosevelt Field. For more information, please contact the Garden City Hotel front desk. Roosevelt Field is about a 10min cab/car drive from the hotel.

You can't take a subway directly to Roosevelt Field. You would need to take the subway to a Long Island Rail Road station. Take a train on the LIRR Port Jefferson or Ronkonkoma line that stops at Mineola Station and transfer to the N22 or N24 bus to Roosevelt Field or call a taxi/Uber.
