You need to stop here to pick up local fruits and produce. They offer a good selection of baked goods that are baked on-site. Deli offers Boar;s Head cold cuts as well as a good selection of soft drinks. Iced cream bar is an added treat.

We stopped here, hoping for an ice cream or cider. We were there off-season, in May, so perhaps not a surprise there was a lot of empty shelves and the ice cream stand was closed. There was a good selection of candy and baked goods and some more generic groceries. All and all, not the best stand like this we've been to, but understandable.

I used to stop here with my grandfather when I was a kid so I wanted to bring my children rather than just drive by. They have fruit, vegetables, baked goods, drinks, jar goods, and candy. They also have a deli with boars head meats and cheeses if you need a sandwich. We grabbed a few items for the road. Stop for 5-10 minutes and help the American Farmer.

We usually make a stop at Taconic Orchards on our way back to the city Sunday afternoons and it's always a treat. In the fall, the variety of apples is amazing and you can't beat the vine ripened tomatoes. But what we really can't resist are the cider donuts -- always fresh and sometimes even still warm. I try cider donuts whenever and wherever I see them, and the ones at Taconic Orchards are absolutely the best -- and available all year round.

I love the fact that fresh produce sold at Taconic Orchards is homegrown. Fresh spices, berries, red reddish, yellow beans, green cauliflower, two dozen varieties of apples, corn, eggplant, zucchini and many more! They carry packages of mixed nuts with seeds, cranberries, raisins or packages of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and more.
There are boxes made of wood for gift giving and other wood products for home decorating.
They also sell potted flowers and hanging annuals.
Produce is so fresh and healthy. Anyone can tell from the appearance of their fruits and vegetables. Beautiful!

World famous natural, ripe,reddish apples , tasty and without pesticides were purchased from the farm yard being owned by private companies who were very cordial having good hospitality.

I never can tell if they produce is local. LOL. But we always stop for nostalgic reasons and ice cream. Bought a giant peach there the other day. Last sweet remnant of summer. Can you pick your own there? If yes, I'd go back in a few weeks.

The selection of produce and plants are excellent. The staff are really helpful and the baked goods are all American style bliss!! Pick up a picnic lunch before heading to the lake.
