เข้าร่วมสถานที่อื่น Jukebox Modem ซึ่งเป็นการแสดงที่ยอดเยี่ยม โควิดนี้ต้องแสดงบัตรวัคซีนโควิดพร้อมใบขับขี่ เนื่องจากเราเป็นผู้สนับสนุนเราจึงมีอคติ พวกเขาเดินทางมาไกลมากในช่วงหลายปีที่ผ่านมา พนักงานทุกคนที่เราพบมีความเป็นมิตรและเป็นมืออาชีพ มีแอลกอฮอล์ในการแสดงบางอย่างพร้อมกับคุกกี้ ลูกอมป๊อปคอร์น โรงละครหลายแห่งมีขนาดเล็ก แต่มีการปรับปรุงใหม่มากมาย และดูเพดาน ผนัง ฯลฯ . . คุณเห็นการตกแต่งที่สวยงามบางอย่าง สำหรับเราอาหารค่ำและการแสดง เนื่องจากเราเข้าร่วมหลายสถานที่ เราจึงยกย่องให้มีสถานที่ดังกล่าว

My first and last date at the theatre

Saturday's attempt at enjoying Michaela Anne and The Wood Brothers was my first and likely last experience at the Ithaca Theater. Short and to the point, its effort to be a social club and theatre simply doesn't work...the establishment caters well to neither when combined.

While I enjoy drinking and good music as much as the next, there is little room for movement, drink sales lines compete for bathroom lines along stair wells, and face-to-face communication can only occur standing in clogged thoroughfares.

For those who attend to enjoy the performance, good luck with that. There is constant clamorous socializing occurring, even during a primary, otherwise spectacular event. The audience is never settled, endlessly getting up in the way of your view to grab another drink or to go the bathroom, requiring between them and the isle to exit the very narrow seating row to let them out, then in, then out, etc.

Think I'm kidding? Reach out and ask Michaela Anne (opening performer), who initially threw the audience a clear "hint" that performing amidst the clamor was not easy. For her finale, she explicitly asked that listeners attend to the important message within her song (ironically, about respect for others), though to no avail. Dismissive or oblivious to either plea or the 'shushing' of those who wished to listen, the socialites refused to yield.

But that's not all! I'm going to attempt two reviews, because travelers deserve a complete picture of the scene and experience.

ENJOYABLE

Attended another venue, Jukebox Modem, which was a excellent show. With this covid a covid vaccination card had to be shown along with drivers license. Since we are supporters we are bias. What a long way they have come over the past years. Every staff we have encounter has been friendly and professional. Alcohol available at certain performances along with a cookie, popcorn candy availability. The theater many be small but many renovations have been made and viewing the ceiling, walls etc... you see some beautiful decor . For us, a dinner and a show. Since we attend many venues we praise for it to be available.

Was here first time for a concert. Theater is old and a little dated. Seats small. Restrooms small and were not all functioning at the time. Otherwise, a good experience though. Nice to see these old style theatres still in use.

A October 21 Performance

Another performance attended, "Who's live Anyway" the 27th of October 2021 and again Very Good. All had to show the covid vacinations to enter and all were required too wear a mask. Since we are "Supporters" and frequently attend several performances, pleased again with this one. The sound was excellent and I believe all seating has a great view of the stage. A hidden gem in the Finger Lakes! A car dealership renovated into a movie theater and now has several live performances with renovations continually being made. Great venues!

My family saw am acoustic show here. The sound was great. It looked like every seat has a good does of the stage. There silently of leg room between rows of seats. The staff is professional.

First a great performance by Elvis Costello & The Imposters then Josh Gates! A car dealership, then vaudeville theater , movie theater and now renovated into a performance theater. Renovations continue with extremely talented performers performing and movies shown occasionally. One of the last theaters in Ithaca with renovations being done continually. We plan too attend several performances in the future and support the theater. One should attend something there and form there own opinion. One should also visit to see the beautiful interior. BEAUTIFUL!

Great concert venue

Have been to this theater before and this trip did not disappoint. It is an old movie theater that has been renovated to its former beauty. It has good acoustics. I would see any band I like there.

Excellent performance by Paula. Many many many renovations have been made by the theater..ie...new heating system, renovated bathrooms, etc... Extremely comtable seating, beverages available and more. I have been attending venues there for several years and my only two complaints are the flimsy cups they surpply with wine or draft beer beverages Too flimsy and each time I sign up for ealry notifications on coming performances I get none? Looking forward to additional performances but they must correct their early notifications since there seems to be a large problem there?

two performances

1St was Steven Wright, then Get The Led Out and next Almost Queen. The theater gets better & better with improvements. It is bring in top notch performances and right here in Ithaca New York. Good security, non-smoking, ample seating, refinished rest rooms, friendly staff, beverages most times....ie... hard cider, beer, wine or water, parking on streets or near by garages, etc... etc! Each performance a improvement of the theater and if one reads about the theaters history, wow. Well worth reading. As always, a joy to have and attend. First a dinner out and then a evening at the theater. Bring back the PBR!
