It was a good value. The trolley makes it easier to cover the entire park if you have kids or older adults in your group. It's a great commuter option to explore different park areas. All trolley ticket prices go toward supporting the park.

Good value at $3 per person, ticket could be used all day if you wished. The trolley was operating until 9pm on the day of our visit, but this may change throughout the year. There was a bit of commentary and it was nice to see some of the falls from a different perspective. The ride was bumpy at times so hold on tight!

This is one of the most lame events I have participated in. Even for only a three dollar fee – – this is ridiculous. The commentary was nonessential. The ride was superficial. Don’t waste your time or money.

Our entire family thought this trolley was awesome! The spots it stops at and the views from it are super cool. The trolley also allows you to enjoy other spots outside of Goat Island, which adds to the savings making the cost of the trolley even more worth it. The all-day passes are $3 for adults/$2 for children. you buy the tickets for the trolley at the Cave of the Winds ticket booth.

This is the way to go instead of all the walking. It makes several stops along the way. The conductor is very good telling about the falls, etc.

This trolley is a cheap way to start off a visit to the Niagara Falls State Park. We stumbled upon this when we went to purchase tickets for the Cave of the Winds. The tickets were very cheap ($3 per person) and there was a stop in front of the Cave of the Winds ticket booth, where we hopped on. The trolley takes you on a scenic, narrated tour through the Goat Island and our tour guide provided some excellent commentary as well. The trolley doesn't make a stop outside of Goat Island. I was able to get some suggestion from our tour guide as to where would be a good spot to catch the nightly fireworks as well. The trolley was clean, charming and fun way to go around some popular spots in Niagara Falls by hopping on and hopping off.

This trolley got us around the sights we wanted to see, but it did not really add to the the overall experience.

We did this because we did not have to walk so much. You can hop on when you want, it is very cheap.

Be sure to use the trolley to get around Niagara Falls State Park. Easy on and off, it saves a lot of walking for $3 a person. The drivers also act as your guides with a lot of good info. One of our drivers sang "I'm All Shook Up" to us. He was pretty good.

It did save a a few steps on Goat Island, but overall was a take it or leave it unless walking is an issue

I've read that Trolley tickets can be bought at the Visitor Center at Prospect Point. I don't see any area named that when I search on Google Maps. I see one named Niagara Welcome Center right off Prospect St., and another named Niagara Falls Visitor Center near 1st Street and the Rainbow Blvd. roundabout.
Which location sells the trolley ticket? I'm particularly interested in a ticket for the Green Trolley line that takes you from the main Niagara Falls area over to Goat Island.
Someone also mentioned you can by this at a parking kiosk (but that was back in 2016). Is this still accurate? Is so, can we buy them at the Parking lot #1 kiosk?

Anywhere the trolley stops, you can get on. If they do not sell the tickets at that stop, they will let you off at the next stop that does and then let you back on. We bought our tickets right near the visitor center. They had a small booth set up because they are in the process of building a new visitor center and it's kind of a mess. The trolley drivers are really nice and helpful with this from what I saw.

Can I bring my dog on the trolley?

There was a dog on our trolley and it was not a service dog as near as I could tell. I did not see any signs one way or the other.
Hi I want know if there is some agency that can give me transportation from Rochester and if I can visit the Niagara falls since board New York, because I do not have Canadian visa. Thanks for the recomedations.

Before I ask, let me clarify, I'm only asking about the Scenic Trolley that goes around inside Niagara Falls State Park in NY, not the Discovery Shuttle that goes to other attractions, and not the Niagara Metro Trolley that goes to the hotels and airport. I only want to know about the Trolley inside Niagara Falls State Park that goes to Cave of the Winds, Maid of the Mist etc. Now that this is clear, does any one have a photo or a link to a photo of the trolley route? I've looked all over the State Park Website and Googled my fingers off and can't find one. Thanks!!

I found it!!! It took forever, but I have found it online. Thanks to those who answered. It's pretty frustrating that I can't provide the link in this answer, but for those looking, here's how to find it. You need to start at the "Niagara Falls USA" website (just remove the spaces and add the com), click the menu button, you'll see a massive list of links, under the part titled Niagara Falls State Park, click on Park Brochure & Map.

On which hotels does the trolley stop?

The Trolly stops at its designated stops in the park only. It crosses the Hotel Red Coach inn but does not stop there. There are two more hotels in front of the main gate of the park & parking lot-1 Comfort inn the pointe, Days Inn. These are inside the park. The quality suits hotel is outside at the front of the information Center.
