A experiência foi muito agradável.
Foi possível comer a famosa cachupa (entre outros pratos) e conhecer a principais tipos músicas de Cabo Verde.
Usufruimos de animação de dança por 4 bailarinos(as), que também nos ensinavam a dançar.

The place is big and very well located, just directly on the beach. Here the positive points are terminated: inside it is a bit smelly, dusty and the taste of the drinks was far away from decent. Not to return.

To all animal lovers: The owner of this restaurant also runs a hotel near dead shell cementary beach - Residential Cabo Verde Palace. You might think twice whose services you are using.
We came by to check the abovementioned hotel but first thing we saw was an owner's dog kept on a chain in front of the place (chain directly on dog's neck).
I asked about it and the owner said he needs this dog here on a chain because the dog "makes noise" and he said "it is his not mine affair" (unfortunately potential animal abuse is always my affair).
Maybe the dog was not neglected and is not kept like this all the time but he had no water there as we talked (the employee filled an empty bucket as we had a discussion). Owner said he has six dogs and he loves dogs (if you love dogs you do not put a chain on it even for one minute).
Terrible thing to be the first to see just after you leave the car. People who love animals should think twice before entering places run by such person. Previous opinions about owner's attitude towards animals might just confirm what I have experienced.

Ein Ort, an dem das Kulturelle und das Kulinarische passt.
Es wird ausgezeichneter Fisch (à la Stroganoff), feine Shrimps an Kokos-Sauce, aber auch grosszügige Buffets. Livekonzerte versüssen den Urlaub auf der Insel Sal.
Übrigens: Zum Apéro empfehle ich den Caipirinha. Für mich der Beste weit und breit in Santa Maria.

Vårt besök var katastrofalt. Vi bad om menyer som sen slängdes fram till oss. sen väntade vi länge innan något hände. Vi beställde öl och mat. Huvudrätten kom före förrätten efter en lååång väntan. Mannen kunde inte äta hamburgaren eftersom den var hemskt. Han fick gå hungrig därifrån. Andra gäster sa att man inte skulle beställa pizzan.

The place looks great, colourful and quirky, but the food was very disappointing. They advertise themselves as a pizza place, but were out of Pizzas. I then chose the goats cheese which they also didn't have. I settled for the burger which was overly processed and a little slimy.

As far as I remember they have music every night. Menu has some interesting local dishes besides the standard offering of burgers and such.
