Great view of the high peaks at the top of this very challenging climb! We found this the most challenging of the Saranac 6 but the view at the top was well worth it!
We started from the Haystack trailhead but I hear the jackrabbit trailhead represents an easier approach so consider that as the top part of the mountain is a workout!

An 8 mile hike in and out to the summit. More geared to seasoned hikers as there are a few steep difficult areas on the trail, but I have seen many children and dogs tackle it with excitement. The summit has a few ledges with views of the surrounding area and the fall colors were awesome.
