Albert Shahinian Fine Art is a lovely gallery filled with beautiful work set right in the center of Rhinebeck's charming downtown. Stunning paintings of the Hudson Valley's natural beauty are highlights. Quite a representation of the talented artists living in the area and beyond. Do make the time to go and see what they have to offer.

My wife and I appreciate the work of many of the artists exhibiting here but especially the atmospheric landscapes of Christie Scheele. The gallery is upstairs, but worth the effort for sure. The owners are very knowledgeable and gregarious and have a long involvement up and down the Hudson.

I stopped by in for a quick look during an opening, but ended up staying as I met so many interesting people from the arts community and beyond. They also helped me to locate the work of a favorite artist.

Don't miss this spot as you enjoy the quaint downtown area. It can be found in a sweet upstairs location, convenient to other great shops and eateries. What a terrific find. Must visit!

Visiting this art gallery was a highlight of our trip to Rhinebeck. It's nestled in an upstairs space, but right in the middle of downtown. There was a lot of interesting and lovely art to take in -- much that was regional and contemporary. The wide range of prices means you stand a good chance of finding something that you like -- and can afford. I especially liked a bunch of pieces featuring edgy and funky paper dolls made from gathered materials. The folks there are friendly and welcoming, too.
