We skied here for Martin Luther Weekend and enjoyed it very much. Now just a few week later more snow and more trails open. My entire family enjoyed the mountain. The lift operators were super kind and slowed the lift for us without asking.

We went to Oak Mountain for the affordable tubing. We had a great time and it was not crowded for February break. The tubing lanes were well groomed and the tow line up the mountain was a lot of fun. The lodge was nice and spacious with lots of room to put on and take off gear. The restrooms were well maintained too. We can't wait to go back!

Small mountain but great for families. No lines, inexpensive, staff was very friendly. Nice views from the top. Only one lift running and some trails closed. But there is no snow in upstate NY. No fault of Oak mtn. Trails are wide great for newer snow boarders!

My first time at Oak MTN on 2/18/23. Went with a friend and his 7 year old daughter. Wasn’t expecting much but I loved this place! The grooming was great, the snow was good, the lines weren’t too long and the trails they had open were decent. I usually ski at Gore MTN. Family operated, great parking, good food service, and a great place for beginners and intermediate skiers. Family place to ski with young kids. Skied from 9 am to 3:30 pm and they even have some black diamond trails. The 7 year old wore me out! She takes lessons there and what a great little skier! Would definitely go back! Thank you for what you do Oak MTN!

Oak Mountain hospitality is above and beyond. Trails kept in great shape and the pizza and salad in the lodge restaurant were delicious! Service was great too.

First, here is what Oak Mountain is not - it's not a 150 trail megaresort.
Oak Mountain is a mountain with a local feel that you will be comfortable at with your whole family. And your whole family will be able to go for near the price of a single lift ticket at one of those megaresorts.
At Oak, you'll also get some amenities that you might not find at your local family-friendly mountain. You'll get a speedy quad with padded seats. You'll get a good restaurant in the lodge. You'll get long trails, each varied with unique character - you can be challenged as much as you want! You'll get lift lines that are either non-existent or feel like it. You may not be alone on the trails all day, but it's big enough that it will feel like it for most of the day.
It's a local mountain with some big mountain luxuries (but not the big mountain expense.)

Our family has been skiing at this small family owned and operated ski resort for generations.... and it's never been better! Currently the main trails have great snow andI never waited more than 5 minutes in a lift line at the busiest part of a Saturday. Awesome pub food with live music! Ski lessons for the little ones have been so helpful!

I learned to ski here along time ago and was so great to be able to take my 4 year old twins for their first ski lesson here this week! Thank you to Laura and Matt and especially Amy Williams for a great lesson! Can’t wait to come back! Eric kristiansen

Always a wonderful ski experience at Oak , skied on the 4 hour pass with my grandson . Trails were well groomed , plenty of snow followed up with a fantastic lunch . Friendly staff , I knew from past ski trips at Oak that I would not be disappointed .

I grew up skiing at Oak Mountain in the days of T-Bars. Taught our kids to ski at Oak 8-9 years ago. If you're looking for a family fun ski resort small enough to avoid lift lines and big enough to offer a variety of slopes from Green Circles to Double Diamond runs, go to Oak Mtn. We love hitting the Acorn Inn apres ski with live musicians and tv screens to watch NFL or college basketball ... without hurting my wallet! What a bargain compared to crowded, budget-breaking options in the Northeast. Try the "Quiet Side of the Adirondacks" for a change you absolutely won't regret it!
