We were there for a hockey tournament. The rinks were very well maintained. The restaurant and bar was fast and efficient. The rink seating was the best I've ever been in at a hockey rink. I was the first hockey game that I wasn't freezing in. Overall a fabulous weekend

This is my new favorite minor league arena. The place oozes atmosphere and history. Great hockey crowd and very affordable. Staff should train others how to be so nice and helpful. Thanks for an amazing time!

This arena has a definite historic feel throughout - certainly unique and not a cookie-cutter type barn. All the important items have been updated but you can definitely imagine what it would have been like to watch a game back in the 60s and 70s. Smallest rink in the AHL but probably the friendliest fans and staff in the league!

Great venue for hockey games. Had a great experience visiting for my first ever teddy bear toss Utica College game. So much fun and awesome to support such a good cause!

The Auditorium has really developed a new look over the years and continues to grow both with aesthetics and entertainment. We went to the rodeo in July with the family. It was a full night of fun by starting with dinner at ‘72’ watched the rodeo show and ended the evening back at ‘72’ to close out our night. We had a great time and so glad the aud has a variety of entertainment for all ages. We’re lucky to have a venue that continues to entertain our great community throughout the year. Thanks Utica!

Recent updates, upgrades and renovations have made this an excellent venue for many different activities. With solid management from local business people this location has become a jewel for varied events including pro and college hockey, pro indoor soccer, concerts, trade shows etc.

I attended two events at Utica Memorial Auditorium this past weekend: the Utica Comets AHL hockey game on January 12th and the UCFC MASL game on January 13th. The arena is conviently located in Downtown Utica, is easy to find and has plenty of parking for $5. The arena also has plenty of food options; I especially recommend the Dino sausage sandwich with peppers and onions. The big drawback of this arena is that there's nothing for people to hold onto as they go to/from their seats, creating a dangerous situation for people who have trouble going up/down stairs; there were several times when.I thought I was going to fall! In the future, I will try to get a handicap seat!

The Utica Memorial Auditorium has unique construction in that it has no obstructive beams. No matter where your seat is, you will have a great view. It is home to the American Hockey League's Utica Comets and recently added the Utica Football Club for the Indoor Soccer League. It is also the home of Utica College Hockey as well as many youth hockey teams.

We went to Utica from Buffalo to see a Comet's AHL game, seeing as how it was only a three hour drive. We heard that this was where the classic hockey comedy Slapshot was filmed and always wanted to check out the arena. The Auditorium is small, only about 3,500 seats, and tickets are usually difficult to come by as they are almost always sold out. When we got there, we could see why.
The arena has recently been renovated and it looks amazing. As my title indicates, there is no bad seat in the house. We had seats right on center ice, and the view was equivalent to club level seats anywhere else. The game was fun, and the people were super friendly and nice, and even though the team lost that night, we had a great time.

Been to the aud several times now to watch the Comets - luckily for games they've won. Regardless, it's a great spot for the whole family, friends, couples, etc. The atmosphere is excellent and there's a variety of food)beverages to choose from to enjoy during the game. If you're in Utica, this is a must see.
