Best place to get your SSI Open Water License!

The diving lessons were excellent! I learned so much from the amazing professionals and well rounded support team. My teacher, Tarek, always stayed calm and taught us everything we had to know in order to get our SSI Open Water license. On top of that, is the sea life incredible and we tried various diving sites! I highly recommend this place!

Scuba Dive with Tarek / ORCA Divers

I learned diving with Tarek, it was a lot of fun, he was always nice and helped you. Borrowing the equipment was easy and the reef was also nice.

I had my first diving experience here with over 50 years. Wouldn't have thought I would.
Tarek was my instructor.
He was so relaxed that he never got busy or panicked.
What was planned as a taster course ended in with a diving license up to 12 meters deep.
The paperwork is of course unpleasant and annoying but understandable.
Can only recommend the Orca Dive Club.
We will definitely come back.

Brilliant first dive experience

I’ve dreamt of diving into an underwater world for years and I’m so glad I finally did it !

I took the Basic Diver course here at Orca. Tarek is a very experienced diver and a patient teacher which enabled me to adapt relatively quickly to breathing underwater so I could get into the pure wonder that was my first experience of diving.

The coral reef right here by the Dive Club is stunning. I loved my experience swimming alongside so many beautiful fish 🩵.

100% recommend this club - and Tarek - to anyone diving for the first time.

Orca Diving Soma Bay, yes please! We travelled to Soma Bay for the third time and were supervised by Orca Diving 1A. Extremely professional, experienced team, multilingual, top equipment - not to mention the sensational diving sites in the area. We are leaving to come back!

Always a pleasant experience!

Our favorite destination during winter times. My husband has been diving with orca for more than 10 years and his first instructor, Farrag, is still here and didn’t change a bit ;) I started diving with orca and finished OW, AWD, and this time AOWD with Tarek! Tarek is an excellent instructor, he is very calm and explains things very well. He checks on us all the time while in the water which gives a great sense of security for learners like me :) and all staffs and instructors here are very friendly and helpful, the overall atmosphere is great.

I did the OWD course here. All instructors were super nice and professional. The equipment was in perfect condition and I had rented everything except the mask.

Again and again Orca

We were back at the base (and already in many other orca bases) and it was not the last time. We can wholeheartedly recommend Orca! The team is doing a great job! Everyone is warm, the organization is great, even if it is full. The reefs and the house reef are a dream. Many employees have been there for years and you can feel the passion. Special requests will be fulfilled, if feasible. What more could you want? The location next to the hotel is another plus. We look forward to the next visit.

It was a lot of fun, and we saw a lot of great animals underwater. I feel well prepared after the dive course to the OWD to continue diving actively!

Unforgettable Diving Experience

The Diving Course with Orca was really a great experience! It was my first diving experience and therefore I was a bit nervous. But the team of ORCA and especially my guide Tarek comforted me and made this an unforgettable experience. Tarek is the perfect guide, always calm,giving support - a perfect instructor and teacher.
Looking forward to coming back soon.
