A walk through the museum and you remember so many things you've seen in older relatives houses... fond memories of a range of items.
Outside we found a range of fountains and other items including a Peter Rabbit piece for the garden.
If you have some time, have a walk thru.

We were recommended to visit this antiques place by a local person in Daylesford as my husband was looking for something specific for his office. We were greeted on arrival and shown two antique spaces filled with Victorian glass, porcelain and many collectible items. We then went to the automobile building again filled with collections of motorcycles, posters, tins and a bakerlite radio I spotted. He loved it and finally after years of searching he had his desk art object. Great service and highly recommend visiting.

Should not of paid the $5 entry fee.
Creepy dude working there should not touch customers or rub there arms.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.
All room are locked and require people working there to open them to get in.

Arrived from Melbourne to find the business was charging a $5.00 per person for admittance. We have previously purchased several high end antiques from them in the past. It is an imposition and also an insult for customers to have to pay an admission fee, If they persist with this admission fee, which is totally unacceptable, they are a retail shop and not a museum, we, and I suggest yourself, look elsewhere.

Odd business model; $5 per adult to walk in, apparently it’s okay because it’s deducted from any purchases. If you just don’t end up buying anything, bad luck! I’d give it a miss unless there’s something really specific you’re looking for & head to Mill Markets 5 mins down the road for free!

This place is chock full of the most beautiful and well displayed antiques and collectables, most of them not behind glass in secure cases, so of course the staff are going to be keeping an eye on things, that's what they're paid to do. They are also extremely helpful and informative if you give them a chance and don't react to them as if they shouldn't be there; crikey, go to Coles!
A real treasure trove of astonishingly well collected and lovingly curated antiques and collectables, well worth a visit if you're serious about this stuff. Ten out of ten.

I have been to many antique stores over the years, including high-end shops in the UK where they buzz you in if they like the look of you, or leave you out in the cold if they don’t.
This store has plenty to see, and although there are goods that will set you back thousands, there are also moderately-priced items on offer so even if you only have a few hundred bucks burning a hole in your pocket its worthwhile going in to have a look.
They have some items that are hard to find in Australia, like genuine antique revolving bookcases. Also they had a interesting range of vintage and antique mini sewing machines.
I found the staff pleasant and accommodating, and the owner is friendly and clearly passionate about antiques. I have read some of the reviews on this site where people have felt that the staff were following them around, but I see it another way: it is great to have someone standing respectfully at a distance that you can call on for assistance rather than having to traverse multiple buildings to find someone to answer a question.
I will be going back. I will find it extremely hard to stay away!

This is an amazing store and the owners are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely nice. I love to browse and don't often buy anything, but at XXXX Antiques, there was such a huge range of great stuff that I couldn't resist. It didn't matter that I was on a roadtrip and just passing through, as the store arranged interstate delivery for me and my beautiful antique furniture arrived safely and on schedule.
Reading the other reviews, I feel sorry for the owners that it seems there must be a fair few visitors that aren't honest and don't own up and pay for breakages.

Great place to visit. We have been going to XXX Antiques for the last six years and in that time we have purchased the most unique and authentic pieces. You do pay a small fee of $5 which is redeemable with any purchase. Great experience for families. This place is a must to visit.

The owner wanted $5 to look at his shop. Most of the items were low end collectables with high price tags. This is not a museum or art gallery but a shop selling stuff.
