Been here for Am Officer and A Gentleman, Star Trek The Wrath of Kahn with William Shatner Live, Pepa Pig, Paw Patrol and other events. Located right next to Bojangles Colisieum and just outside The city of Charlotte it's a great place for live entertainment.

Saw Joe Bonamassa at Ovens auditorium. Love the show. Parking was easy, included in ticket and well coordinated. Sound was excellent. Seating was comfortable. 4 stars because a very small glass of wine was $8 and a bottle of water was $4. With tip and tax it was almost $15.

You didn’t open the doors early , we were in the rain for an hour however I do understand the safety issues So it seems to me that the door should have been open. Also Tucka really discouraged me, he cut all his songs Shirt, didn’t even bother the send all his hit songs . Why, was Tucka not the last act as usual:Did he want to Leave early? Well Mr. Tucka we won’t pay another $400 to see you!!! This was your worst performance ever, and I would normally follow you anywhere, but Not Anymore!!!!!

Wonderful facility, beautifully maintained, with great, dedicated handicapped parking, as well as a large parking lot. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Everything seemed to be running smoothly, and with first class service. Multiple lobby locations to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, permitted into the actual auditorium.
The seats are roomy and comfortable, interior decor very nice, good acoustics. Sight lines are well designed, no “bad” seating.
Police facilitated quick exit after performance has ended.
Would happily recommend for attending entertainment. Would happily return.

Was here for Bonnie Raitt concert. Tickets were easy to pick up and staff was everywhere to help and friendly. Building seemed old but acoustics were up to snuff and there were plenty of bathrooms and refreshment areas.

The staff was very nice, never had any problems. We took a Lyft from our hotel. We hope we can return for more events.
There is no place to have dinner before the show that is very close.
We stumbled upon the Tipsy Burro Saloon, it was excellent. We walked from the venue just trying to find someplace.

The auditorium was nice, the bathrooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the show was great. Overall, it was a good experience. However, the seating was incredibly uncomfortable. Even as an average-sized woman, I found the seating to be incredibly cramped, with no leg room, where you practically have to crawl over people to get out of the aisle. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they designed the seating. Overall, a nice facility and a good experience though.

The venue is fresh, bright, well consigned vendors and comfy theater seats with good views. A lot will depend on the event being presented but you have till October 3rd to catch WICKED. The other side of the Wizard of Oz story from the viewpoint of the Wicked Witch of the West. Nice tie in with the original story in the final acts. XCLNT performances all around.

I went to Ovens Auditorium for the first time last evening to see ABBA, the concert. Never again. First of all, traffic and parking is horrendous. The ushers are really rude, and not helpful whatsoever.
The venue is old. No technology, no wifi, poor acoustics and lighting. The performance by the touring group was really good, it would have been fabulous in a different theater.

We have tickets to see Anjelah Johnson this weekend that include meet and greet passes. We received an email saying to be there by 5:30 for the meet and greet. Is there anywhere nearby Ovens auditorium to eat before the concert?

I'm trying to find more of a detailed seating chart. Just bought tickets and although the aisle is listed on the seating chart pictured, the actual seat number is not. I'm hoping that I purchased an aisle seat.

I am not exactly sure but all of the seats are good at Ovens. It's just an older facility but it is easier to get in and out.

Hi Cierra! When we have a show that does not require an orchestra, we seat people in PIT seating. It is typically the first three rows in front of the stage.
