Looking for somewhere special on a hot day with young children well you won’t go wrong travelling here to Beatty Ford Park.
Spotless facility in the most beautiful of surroundings beside Lake Norman.
Wonderful Play Park sitting next to a fantastic splash area for the little ones, toilets and picnic spot with barbecue.

This is a great place for a summer child's birthday party. Has a playground, water play area, swings, clean bathrooms, a great field for a kickball game and plenty of places for the adults to sit and watch the activities. Also has a grilling area and nice covered picnic tables.

Enjoyed this family park. Easy place to park and launch kayaks for a paddle on Lake Norman. Will return.

This is the perfect place to walk, walk your dog, or enjoy an evening stroll, as well as take the kiddos for some fun. It's safe, open to all, and easy to access.

This park has a picnic shelter, great little splash pad, playground, disk golf course, field to play ball and volleyball, walking track/trail, and more. All of this is right on the lake, but far enough away for the kids to safely play. There is fun at this park for the whole family.

My grandkids love the water park. This is a nice clean park with swings, climbing apparatus and the water park. It also has a disc golf course.

I go there to walk. They have a play ground, boat launch, public restrooms, and a splash pad (in the summer). It has a small trail since it is a very small park.

This is a great park and has a lot to offer especially for exercise and is
dog friendly as long as there on a leash . There is a great splash pad and park for the kids and the view is no bad either !!

This is a great park for younger kids. They have a really nice splash pad surrounded by a low brick wall, a couple of large climbing playground units, benches, rentable party pavilion, decent bathrooms, boat launch and disc golf. This is the only park in the area with a splash pad and disc golf, which makes it a great find.
My only complaint would be that, since this is a newer park, there isn't much shade to help you escape the heat. I have been known to put on my bathing suit and join in the splash pad fun too.

We have been here a couple of times. My children are older but I see lots of people bring their kids there for the splash pad, and it was pretty popular this morning.
They have a 9 hole disc golf course that goes into the woods, a .25 mile track with some added spots to do pull ups, sit ups..., 2 horse shoe pits, a covered picnic area that can be rented out (it was this morning) for parties, charcoal grills, and a boat launch area for Lake Norman (the only public launch on west side of lake), which looked pretty popular this particular sunny Sunday.
Nice thing is the bathrooms are nice and clean!
