We scheduled a surf lesson for our grandson the week of the 21st. The instructor was excellent and was able to instantly make our grandson feel at ease. He learned so much and was able to ride a wave in during the actual lesson.
We were also impressed with the more than reasonable price for the attention and support that our grandson received.
We plan to schedule more lessons next year and hopefully get our granddaughter involved as well.

My family (ages 7, 9, 13, 17, 46 and 48) all had an incredible experience with Carolina School of Surf. Can't recommend it strong enough. We had a great time!!!

I would highly recommend CSS. My girls were 12 and 13, had never surfed before. Their instructor Carlston was prepared, enthusiastic, and so encouraging. All the instructors were positive and great with the kids all ages. My girls had an amazing experience. We will do it again next year.

This was the second set of classes our niece enjoyed at OIB. Great experiance. very attentive staff, super ratio of staff to kids. I highly recommend

Wow! This is such a great group of instructors and a fantastic program! My teen has been doing the surf camp for the last two years and loves it!! I can’t say enough great things about the instructors, small group size, personal attention, and such a fun vibe! If you are thinking about taking surf lessons or signing up for the camp, look no further, this camp is awesome! You will find that all the instructors are top notch and their passion for surfing comes through in their instruction. Best memories!!

My grandson and my granddaughter received private lessons today with Miles and Cardison, and they learned a lot and had a great time. I was most impressed with how positive both teachers were with the children and how much progress they made.

Our son was very hesitant with the idea of surfing - sure he would not be able to do it. However, after the first day of surf camp, he LOVED it! By the end of the week, he was surfing with no help at all. The instructors were friendly and encouraging. We could hear them cheering as he rode his first wave. STRONGLY recommend to anyone!

My 7 year old son did his first came in July at Ocean Isle and he immediately asked to do it again next year! The instructors were terrific and made it fun! They engaged with the kids and made sure everyone was having fun and was being safe as well! We will be back for sure!

My granddaughter enjoyed surf camp at OIB. She was able to get up on the surf board the first day. There was one instructor for two students. Crystal(SP?) was great.

The team at Carolina School of Surf is amazing! They are very engaged and make it lots of fun for the kids to learn to surf. One of my daughters wasn't feeling 100% (ear infection) so she wasn't really into surf camp and ended up missing 3 of the 4 days. The owner of CSS asked me each day how she was feeling and offered to refund me multiple times. She finally made it the last day and she had a blast surfing with her sister & cousin. This is our 3rd year doing this surf camp -- we'll be back in 2024!!!

They use Friday as a makeup day. They are very flexible!
