Lots of good little spots to eat, with some shopping. I had a good sandwich at Southern Craft. My niece loves the place for crepes.

Very nice restaurant good food. But They no longer serve brunch! Staff was very good. I would go back. My husband said his burger was awesome!!

This little village was the best! Super super cute! Great stores and food places. We ate at village grill and it was super good. Grabbed chocolates from the chocolate boutique & shopped at a few stores. Stuf n such is a good store, lots to look at!! Can’t wait to go back

The meal was delectable and the spices in the Bloody Mary with olives just right! The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned.

Nice small shopping center with a European setting. Nice independent shops and cafes-' not usual shops and cafes you find in a big mall. Easy and convenient parking.

La Fayette Village is easy to find - when you get close you’ll see a small Eiffel tower to mark the place. There are many interesting shops and restaurants. In pleasant weather it is comfortable to sit outside and sometimes they have events going on at certain times of the year. We prefer it when it’s a little quieter before schools get out as sometimes in summer it gets packed with families and small kids running around all over the place. If you’ve come for a quiet romantic evening for 2 this is not the place during those times. It’s nice though because the shops are different to the usual mall/strip mall shops, the spice shop especially smells delightful. We have found staff to be pleasant in most places. The coffee shop is lovely although sometimes a little slow in serving, but I find that to be the case with a lot of coffee shops. We’ve enjoyed the food in all the restaurants there and the crepes in Simply Crepes are delicious!

If you happen to be close by, then its worth visiting. Its unique and has some French charm. We came to Lafayette village as a destination for the day. Not that kind of place. Some places to eat. A limited choice of shopping. The coffee shop was pleasant. The store owners should review their stategic plan. Or its just a bunch of buildings that might be a little French.

I have always liked Lafayette Village, but last night we discovered a new (to us) gem, Southern Craft Butchers. We didn't know they served food, but went in, and oh, my goodness, I had the best hamburger I have ever had. If you don't go, you will have denied yourself a real experience. The young owner/butcher is a real delight and very passionate about what he and his partners are doing to provide quality meat to the community. Can't wait to go back.

While in the Raleigh Area, you must visit this cute little cluster of stores that resemble a French Type Plaza. The aromas coming from the various restaurants were awesome. We visited the Olive Oil Shop and sampled some various seasoned oils with little pieces of french bread. We actually brought home several bottles of seasoned olive oil. Loved the Country Store with all kinds of items for sale. We even visited a bike shop where the knowledgeable owner was advising us on what kind of bike to purchase.

Yes dogs are allowed there because it’s not an enclosed area - although some of the restaurants/stores may not allow them to go inside. There’s a leash law so dogs would have to stay on a leash.

What is the closest hotel to Lafayette Village? Thinking of an overnight trip to the Village and maybe a visit to North Hills.

I'd recommend the Renaissance as well. For a less expensive option, try one in Wake Forest. Only about 6- 9 miles away from Lafayette village. There is a Tuesday morning that you pass as well on Falls of Neuse near Wake Forest. Jubala Coffee and Simply Crepes are a must at the Village. Stuff and Such has cute gifts as well.
