Pleasantly surprised. Food was very good. Service great.Dirth of places to eat in the area that were not a national chain. Would go back.

I really enjoyed eating at the Wakefield Tavern yesterday. We had to have the nachos based on other reviews and they were great. The fresh salsa and jalapenos really made the dish. I also had the fish and chips entree and the fish was very fresh and the beer batter was delicious. The service was some of the best since we have lived down here. Our waitress was always prompt and friendly.

We love to come here for date night the atmosphere is so friendly and comfortable. The food is great one of my favorites are the Monte Cristo sandwiches. My favorite dessert when they have it is the chocolate brulee.

The very best Lamb Burger I ever had. Tasty little Tzatziki sauce on the side, and comes with fries or very homemade chips...spectacular!
We have been to this place twice and been very impressed both times. The Monte Cristo and the Quesadillas also received high marks. Great selection of beers and a very quiet, easygoing atmosphere.

I just adore the staff and the food is great for bar food. We get to go food from Wakefield Tavern often. It's always perfect and never have had to complain. My two favorites are shrimp nachos and turkey club!

This is the place my husband and I go when we have a date night, where we bring the kids for wings and such, and even my mother in law for her birthday. We love the vibe. The atmosphere is laid back, but buzzing, not uppity, but not backwoods, classy and sophisticated, but casual. The foods is great, wings are fabulous, people watching is fun. Highly recommend.
