My family rented a pontoon for the day through Santeetlah Boat Rentals. We had an absolutely wonderful time!! The most relaxed we’ve been in a long time. Everyone affiliated with Santeetlah Boat Rentals was very professional & knowledgeable. It’s a small, family owned business that takes the time to make sure you know how to handle the boat. Everything is spelled out for you. If you have any questions or concerns, from booking your rental, getting fitted for a life jacket, to the time you leave the dock, all you have to do is ask. This was my first boat rental & when I rent again, Santeetlah Boat Rentals is the place I’ll go back to!! Wonderful & friendly people!!

Great experience. Good price! Very friendly.
Had a small issue with the boat upon returning, but it was how they handled it that made it great. Don’t hesitate to rent here. They make things right if they are not.

This marina is under new ownership in 2021 so you can ignore prior reviews. Steve and his wife could not have been more accommodating (the exact opposite from the other marina). Would highly recommend for your boating needs.

New owners! Now listed on web as santeetlahboatrentals.com. Marcella and her family are absolutely amazing! We wanted something special to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation. Santeetlah Boat Rentals not only met, but far exceeded our expectations. Great communication and follow up. Nice personal touches. Little and big things that made for a wonderful and memorable family celebration of our graduate. I can't thank them enough. Highly recommend!

Everyone here is awesome...nice, honest, GOOD people!! Loved Bob! ... so patient, helpful and knowledgeable! We had a most memorable, special and fun-filled day and are ever grateful to this wonderful family!

Incredible experience at this boat rentals. Very accommodating of our visit. The boat was excellent and had everything we needed. The boat functioned well with out a problem. The prices are also the best on the lake.

Used this marina on recommendation from the people we stayed with, rode by the day before and was a little leery from the view from the road.. Well views are deceptive. Once down the drive there is plenty of parking. Mr. Bob was busy checking in another group and ask us to sit on porch and give him a minute. Check in was quick, walk to dock was short. We rented a pontoon which ran well and was in great shape, very clean and taken care of. After a run down of points on the boat with Eric we were off, 20 minutes from car to go. Lake is beautiful, it was Saturday, I was surprised that there wasn't more boat traffic. A 1/2 day rental would be enough to see the lake, a whole day if you want to swim and play. There are plenty of places to stop and swim or explore. Easy lake to navigate but do pay attention to the map you are given, there are markers guiding you back to the marina. Back at the dock Eric helped ties us up, unload then he topped off the gas. Up in office settled the bill with Mr. Bob, chatted a few minutes about his life there, a very nice man. Would not hesitate to rent from Deyton Camp again.

On Lake Santeetlah there are only 2 places to rent a boat. Deyton camp and Santeetlah marina. We had a boat reserved for our vacation at Deyton camp for several months. Our first day of vacation when we were supposed to pick up the boat, they called us to tell us the boat we had reserved was broken down and wouldn't be fixed for several days and they had no other boats available. So we were left with trying to rent a boat from the other place at the very last minute. We were not the only people this happened to either, there were at least 2 other families who also got screwed by Deyton camp that same week. Deyton camp is creating desperate vacationers who thought they had a boat reserved but who find out last minute they don't and then have to pay twice as much at the other marina or worse, be left vacationing on a lake without a boat! They should just do everyone a favor and stop renting boats, period. (I have reviewed Santeetlah marina separately on T.A.) We did hear that Deyton camp was for sale so maybe new owners will come in and straighten it out? Until then, don't count on them for a boat!

Unreliable, unprofessional, horrible customer service. Having slightly lower prices is not worth going to them. We booked a boat from them weeks ahead of time and made family vacation around renting their boat, then they canceled the boat rental on us within less than 24 hours of our arrival, coming up with inexcusable reasons. This happened twice - we should not have given them a second chance.

Reservation made 1 month month in advance completely dishonored 1 day before trip. Kids left high and dry. this after being a loyal customer for years, avoid at all costs!
