The items for sale were all beautiful and they also had books of the area, jewelry, pottery, beautiful silk scarves and the lady working was very helpful, and suggested other places to visit.

Rounding out our weekend getaway day trip around the area was a drop-by Stecoah. Upon first look the structure reminded me of my grammar school. The visual message was reinforced by an adjacent building that had the look and size of my school's gymnasium. The welcoming and personable arts center staffer on duty confirmed my observations. Echoing other reviewers, this cultural (and shopping for local crafts and such) oasis is tucked away in a valley that evokes peace and tranquility. The Center is a genuine showcase of local history and folklore. Atmospherics were quite inviting. If you plan a visit be sure to call for directions, and invest in an old-fashioned, paper foldout map. (GPS will have you going in ever expanding circles). Kudos to all who are making Stecoah Valley Arts Center a vibrant enclave of information and local showmanship.

This is a bit off the beaten track but well worth a stop. The crafts here are truly beautiful. Most are very unique. I doubt you will leave empty handed. They do also present craft fairs & celebrations & they do have an inside theater where there are live performances.

This is a lovely cultural arts center tucked in an Appalachian valley showcasing locally handmade works of art. They offer musical experiences too. Thank you, Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center!

Our family always has a great time at the Valley Center, especially when we have breakfast with Santa. The staff makes us feel at home and we are welcomed like family.

We spent a week in Robbinsville and I mentioned I need to bring back some gifts which are from the area. Stecoah Valley Arts Center was suggested and I loved it. So many beautiful handmade unique gifts. I had such a difficult time figuring out what to purchase. So, I did some early Christmas shopping. I will definitely return when I come back to Robbinsville next year. I also found the prices to be reasonable.

Local old school converted to a center for Appalachian heritage, what a great idea!!!!!!
Many local crafts much of which is from local Artisans. History of the building is displayed inside. great place to visit and pickup something to take home to remember this place. Fall festival great time to visit. has lots of venders and displays.

We were on an auto tour of 2300 miles and passed Robbinsville and noticed the festivals underway. We enjoyed all the different artisans and crafts and the live music. There were a number of vendors with food and we had some excellent food. A few hours is enough for this event. There’s a large concert that evening. There are many famous musicians that have played this indoor hall

If you are looking for something beautiful, handmade, unique, and one-of-a-kind, look no further. The gallery at Stecoah Valley Center has just the thing. Gorgeous, locally and regionally crafted art work, textiles, jewelry, wood carvings, pottery...the list goes on. All displayed in a restored 1920's schoolhouse. If you are lucky enough to be in the area during the summer months, treat yourself to a Saturday evening of music at the Center's Appalachian Evenings Concert Series.

This craft center had beautifully displayed local crafts displayed. So many beautiful & unique items. Hard to chose. Very delightful & informative person st desk. This is also lovely community Center where show & events happen. Definitely check it out - you will love it. So many items and great unique gifts for holidays. Neat cloth pumpkins for this time of year & very reasonable compared to other craft stores.

They have a concert series during the summer. Then they have a festival in late October. Sadly, it was last weekend. Their events calendar is posted online. Google "Stecoah Valley Community Center". They have a useful website, but Tripadvisor does not allow posting of actual websites here.
