自然と生活地域がある広い大学

学内をバスが走っているほど広い敷地です。木々や池等の自然も豊でした。校内にある岳麓書院と愛晩停を訪れ、毛沢東像も見ました。

Located along a famous street which popular among the local. Very near to Mount Yuelu. We walked here after visited Mount Yuelu. We just pass by and took some photo of the vintage building, not visit to campus area.

千年学府

无愧于“千年学府，百年名校”，四大书院之一的岳麓书院便深藏其间，而通往岳麓山的公路又形成了一条摩肩接踵的商街，游人如织。湖大学生堆的雪人也比别处来的精致，冰魂雪魄甚是可爱。

Not a clear-cut attraction

I hardly imagine how a university can be a tourist attraction. Ordinary tourists rarely go to campuses looking for amusement… Yet if you’re already there and you wonder what are the entertaining things to do, here is what I found fun during my short stay at the Hunan University. And yes, a disclaimer : I only visited the Technical campus that borders the Yuelu mountain:
- visit the Yuelu academy that is next door (not extremely entertaining either);
- climb the Yuelu mountain and enjoy the various sightseeings and other activities there;
- visit the University Library (if you’re a scholar or a future one);
- try the huge variety of street food sold around or directly on the campus;
- observe the early morning open-air tai chi exercices by the locals;
- buy fresh fruits from the country folk coming to sell their crops on campus.

A great, over 1,000-year-old institute of higher learning

A comprehensive university especially noted for its courses in engineering, science, economics, and liberal arts. The history of this university dates back to the year 876 of the Song Dynasty. The university has an academic staff of 4,600 and 46,000 students. The university has 23 departments offering degree program, including Architecture, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Chinese Language and Literature, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, Design, Economy and Trade, Educational Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Finance and Statistics, Foreign Languages and International Studies, Journalism and Communication and Film and Television Arts, Law, Marxism Studies, Mathematics and Econometrics, Materials and Engineering, Mechanical Vehicle Engineering, Physical Education, Physics and Microelectronics Science, Yuelu Academy and Huxiang Culture, and more.

The campus has both modern and ancient beautiful teaching facilities, and lots of natural scenery.

One of my colleagues is taking an MBA program through the School of Business Administration.
