Dette er et museum har en perfekt størrelse, og jeg kan klart anbefale stedet.
3 små afdelinger. Først en om geologien i området og klatring i bjergene. Derefter en omkring byen og dens historie. Den sidste afdeling er om bysbarnet Erich Wustmann.

Kleines, interessant aufgebautes Museum über die Stadt Bad Schandau und ihre Persönlichkeiten. Bei dem heißen Wetter war es auch eine willkommene Abkühlung.

This museum is located facing the Kurpark. It is an older property which has been modernised to provide a number of distinct display areas. There is good coverage of local history and prominent local figures.
On the day we visited, we were the only visitors, which is disappointing given the quality of the resource. We were able to engage in conversation with the gentleman on duty on the reception desk and he answered our questions about the geo-political development of the region and recommended further reading. well worth a visit, but note access is difficult for anybody with mobility problems.

Our walking tour of the town allowed us just enough time to visit this museum before moving on to the next place. Worth a visit.

über das Leben vom Völkerkundler und Reiseschriftsteller
Erich Wustmann. Zahlreiche Reiseuntensilien und ethnografische
Gegenstände bereichern die Sammlung. 1984 moderierte er seine
16 Teilige Fernsehserie "Unter Indianern, Lappen und Beduinen",
die als Endlosschleife im Museum zu sehen ist.
