We had a great time at the dog park with our three dogs. There are ball fields there and an awesome childrens playground with really cool things to do.

On Saturday April 24th 2021, I took my 5 year old daughter to the Rec center to swim, everything was good, the place was clean, the staff was polite and we had a great time until we got ready to leave after swimming and changing into our dry clothes my daughter wanted some m&ms from the vending machine, I was making the purchase and I asked the front desk worker if the fitness area was open and she said it was and then she demanded that I put on a mask and continued to tell me that according to the CDC that I had to wear the mask there. I feel like it's my right as an American citizen to choose weather I wear a mask or not, and I don't understand y I have to wear one in the lobby area, but don't have to wear a mask in the pool area. I will not be demanded to wear a mask when it goes against my civil rights and infringes on my beliefs and my freedom. I will not wear a mask there and if I feel like I am being forced to wear a mask or to be made to leave for practicing my rights I will file a lawsuit against the town of waynesville and the parkland recreation department

Because it seems all we do in Waynesville is eat, a nice park for a good walk is now on the agenda for each visit ... and this is the place for it.
