After visiting the Community park by the Eleanor Lake we drove to this park. It's beautiful view seen from the car. We saw five bears during our drive to the park. I could take a picture of two baby bears with their mom accrossed the road. We only took a short walk in the park as we've already seen some bears near the entrance of the park. A good location to find the wildlife.

Great experience, amazing view especially when cloudy.did then river safari whit a jet boat.was a little rainy but didn't bother at all.

Born and raised in blue river we are not short of Amazing view, great people beautiful beaches and bugs some times we are forgotten Becuase we are so small! But blue river offers soooo much outdoor activities they don't cost a single penny!

Unter der angegebenen Reklame haben wir uns etwas völlig anderes vorgestellt.Fast 2Stunden mit einem Elektroboot für 100Dollar. Das war entschieden zuviel.

My family has been going to Murtle Lake from the mid-1970's and my ancestors many years before that - marching around looking for gold and silver. This is one of my top 10 idyllic places to canoe in British Columbia. But it takes preparation and some care, as canoeing can be treacherous with sudden winds that turn mirror like waters into gunnel squeezing rollers. You will have to contend with bears, black-flies, horse flies, mosquitoes and biting midges and tons of people at high season. But timed right, you can have your own beach from which to gaze upon picturesque wilderness.
