Faster than you think!

My husband and I and our two teens did the “Into the Wild” tour and had a great ride. We were blessed with blue skies and mild temperatures. Our drivers Korbin and Justin were skilled and friendly, although not as skilled and friendly as our dog teams!

It was a phenomenal experience. I absolutely recommend it to everyone!! I’m glad I checked it off my bucket list. The furry friends were super adorable and we even got to give them treats post the ride and cuddle with the puppies! I absolutely will visit again!!

Into the Wild dog sled tour

My husband & I went on the Into the Wild dog sled tour with Mountain Man Dog Sled tours. It was amazing. So much fun Great scenery. Chris & his staff were friendly & so helpful. The dogs were awesome & so excited to take us on our ride. Visiting the puppies at the end of the tour was awesome!

Amazing Experience!

My wife and I just completed the longer Into the Wild tour with Mountain Man Dog Sledding just this afternoon. It was an amazing experience start to finish and cannot recommend it enough!! Chris and Taryn who own the company treat you like gold and are a wealth of knowledge about the dogs and sledding in general. We had Corbin as our guide who educated us before we went on our ride and during about all aspects of the sledding process as well the terrain we rode through. The track through the woods is intimate and magical. The true stars are the dogs who are happiest when pulling the sled!! We had up close time with the dogs as well as the young pups that will be future sled dogs. All in all if you love dogs and the outdoors it makes for a great morning or afternoon!! Do not miss this tour… you can tell, we loved it!

Wonderful experience to cross off your bucket list!

In addition to from seeing the beautiful forest and interacting with the dogs, the experience was breathtaking. Learning about the dog breeds and their breeding practices was an added experience. Loved it!

Epic - a must do.

Epic. It was so much fun. We were properly introduced to all the dogs who were on our team. Their personalities, lineage and querks were explained so we knew they were treated like family, loved and adored and they were so excited to get going. As soon as we started to get prepared it was like a chorus of "pick me, pick me". and once safely attached, we were off like a rocket. Breaks were scheduled so the dogs could rest, but they didn't want to. They wanted to run. Glorious. Additional bonus was being introduced and to hold the puppies - a must. Don't miss out. It is so worth it.

Bucket list dog sled tour 10/10!

Amazing experience! We did the bucket list dog sled adventure. The sledding was so fun, and we loved meeting the dogs and puppies! All the dogs are so healthy, happy and well cared for and the owners are so lovely! 10/10 recommend :)

I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!!

My ski legs were not happy so I was looking for something to do while the rest of my group was on the slopes - I saw the Mountain Man Dog Sled Adventures flags in the village and their link in the Sun Peaks web pages. BEST DISCOVERY EVER!!!

From the phone call to Taryn to confirm that they had space and what to expect to the pickup in the village by Chris (Chris and Taryn own the company) to the introductions to the dogs and the drivers, the experience was superb!

It is so great to see the dogs so happy doing what they love and that the musher/driver Nick had full control of the team.

Getting to meet the next generation of sled dogs was a bonus - it was everything I could do not to try to steal one of the cuties to take home!!!

Incredible experience !

This is a MUST! Fabulous set up and amazing experience in such a beautiful setting. Taryn and team were on time to collect us, pleasant, knowledgeable and gave a thorough explanation of the role of each dog & how they are cared for. We met each dog by name and loved the story as to how they are all named. After the trip we fed the dogs and met the puppies. Beautiful to see how much the dogs love to run and how well cared for they are. Bucket list experience.
