This was such a wonderful surprise. The artist were both lovely. Andrew explained in detail encaustic sculptural painting, which we had never heard of and then took us of a tour of the barn. The art and the setting are spectacular. We then had a informative conversation with Tara about her photography. She told us stories about her travels and the subjects in her photos. We especially enjoyed “Athena and Poseidons” competition that inspired her olive tree photograph.
She also shared some of the techniques she used to capture different effects.
Worth visiting.

I took Andrew’s 2 day encaustic workshop with a couple of friends. It was a great weekend! We learned so many different encaustic techniques and ended up leaving on Sunday with a bunch of our own new works of art. Andrew and his wife are very friendly and easy going. The property and Galleries are beautiful. Definitely a place to visit!

Awesome art gallery. we were lucky that the artiest was there and had time to take us through his gallery and talk about his art work. The only thing that you need to watch out for is that there's no washroom available at this place.

Awesome experience and wonderful artists/hosts. Highly recommend stopping here while in PEC. There is even a B&B option within the new gallery that would make for a unique overnight stay. This husband and wife team have created a lovely gallery experience in the countryside and the painting and photography are worth viewing.

I love both the artists featured at Andara Gallery. It is wonderful to meet an artist that loves his work and loves his medium. I had never heard of Encaustic Painting and Andrew took a lot of time to explain. I loved it so much I signed up for a weekend class and I am hooked. Andrew is a great instructor. Hands on and very interactive. I will be doing it again with a group of my friends. His wife is a Photographer and I love her work as well. Worth the drive to Prince Edward County!

While recently in PEC we were encouraged to visit Andara Gallery. Andrew gave us a generous amount of his time to educate us on Encaustic Painting. His work is varied and one would think it was a display by more than one Artist. The new Gallery is spectacular and a wonderful opportunity for he and his wife Tara to display their pieces together. Tara's photography draws you in to "a moment in time".
Thank you Andrew for the wonderful tour of your property and indulging all our questions. We look forward to a return visit.

Really enjoyed seeing the beautiful art by Andrew. He clearly explained the encaustic process which I was unfamiliar with. His art is very unique and appealing. Also enjoyed Tara's photography at Andara - excellent images, very captivating. She captured the essence of what she saw and her enhanced coloring of some of the photos was absolutely gorgeous. Well worth a visit.

Second time visiting this wonderful gallery. Artist Andrew Csafordi is a welcoming host, and kindly explains the process of encaustic painting, and his own process. Beautiful artwork. A very enjoyable visit in a really lovely setting. Always on our 'to-do' list in the county !
