Activité très sympa même pour des enfants de 7 ans. Très sécurisé, explication sur les parcours,ok.
Par contre a l'arrivée, personne nous a dit que le temps était compté ! Nous n'avons donc pas eu le temps de faire l'ensemble des parcours, et on est venu nous chercher à notre descente d'un parcours pour nous dire d'arrêter... Dommage, surtout qu'il n'y avait pas grand monde sur l'ensemble des parcours.

The 4 of us tried the ziplines circuit: 5 ziplines in a row, in the forest (my children are 9 and 7Y old and could do it easily). It was safe and well organized (for each platform, there was a staff member making sure everything was all right, so that the flow of people was smooth and the waiting time minimal). For the younger ones, there is also a circuit in the trees (ultra-safe) with nice sheds a couple of meters above the ground.We did it during the colours, and the forest was magnificent!

Despite the rain, our group of teenagers had a great time on the ‘circuits’ and Tyroliennes. Thanks to the staff, in particular to Jazz(?) for her help, her careful instructions and for granting us a bit of extra time on the Tyroliennes, the boys were super happy! Nice open space and table to have some food and cake after the outing. Lots of parking, easy to find from Rigaud and very fast and efficient reservations. We highly recommend it!!

Nous avons passé une super journée à Abraska Rigaud! À ma grande surprise, mes enfants de 6-7 et 12 ans pouvaient faire tous les parcours, sauf celui expert que ma plus jeune n'a pu faire mais mon garcon de 7 ans , oui! Tout est tres bien organisé et sécuritaire et les parcours ds les arbres sont longs et tous differents! J'etais un peu inquiete au debut que chacun doit installer ses harnais lui-meme et poulies pour les tyrolienne mais les enfants apprenent vite, c'est tres simple! Nous sommes restés de 12h30 à 16h et n'avons pas vu le temps passer! Payez sans hesiter le 5$ supplementaire/personnepour les grandes tyroliennes c'etait juste wow ! Bref, quelle belle sortie en famille et quel beau site ! Merci :)

There are a few Arbraskas in Quebec but this is the one in Rigaud. It's situated in a really natural setting and is the perfect getaway for either adults, teens or a family looking for some physical challenges and adventure. There are a few levels of courses, one for each level of physical prowess so anyone can be accommodated. Safety is their number one concern and the fully bilingual staff will ensure that you are not biting off more than you can chew. I am in my 60's and in very good condition (for an older guy) so at first I tried the intermediate course. You are fully helmeted and harnessed so nothing can happen to you as long as you follow the simple and logical instructions. Within a few minutes I saw that this course was too easy for me and switched to the most difficult one. This course is challenging but certainly doable for anyone in decent shape willing to be patient. The course consists of a series of challenging "bridges" and other obstacles that you need to cross or climb around. You literally clip in and clip out with every move so you're always safe. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make sure that you are fine. If a problem arises you can stop and descend. The hardest course is high up in the trees but you never really feel the height as you are surrounded by branches. The best part is the final zip-line descent which is a blast. You can bring a thin pair of gloves and should wear long, thin, breathable pants as you might sweat in jeans. The best time to go is in the middle of the week as the weekends and holidays can get quite crowded.You can reserve online but I just showed up. Of course I live in Rigaud so I can go anytime. The trips go in any weather except a thunderstorm, but if one hits midway you won't get a refund so check the weather first. It's not cheap but it takes about 3.5 hours. I did it faster as it wasn't crowded when I went. It's a great adventure and perfect for high school, Cegep or university groups doing a leadership program looking for the perfect bonding activity.

I went with my kids who are in their late 20's. All of us are afraid of heights so this was going to be interesting.
Reception was abit confusing but once we figured it out we were ok . It's 3 steps: book online (which we did the day before - we signed up for the mega ziplining- recommended), sign waiver, get helmet & harness.
We followed the guide, who took us to a small zipline . They are all about safety here. Just listen well and you're good to go. Instructions were both in English and French.
If you're there to zip line, it's worth it to pay an extra 5$ for the mega, otherwise it could get boring .
You start off at a small height and work your way to bigger and faster lines. Oddly enough you get over your fear quickly ( we all did!) even while being 70 ft in the air. The safety harnesses helped!
They have 5 mega ziplines and you go as often as you can in your 2 hrs allotment.
We saw young kids doing the mega ziplining (6 yrs old). I would recommend parents to try out the course on the own first and then take kids. The mega lines are not for everyone. They have lots of areas for every skill level and age.
Bugs are not an issue unless you're just standing around, and even then it's next to none.
Water fountain is near the first zip line if you forgot your water, like we did.
The young people working there are very knowledgleable, friendly and professional.
You can buy food and drinks there. Picnic table is also available.
Lineups were next to none and we went on Sunday at 1pm, with perfect weather (30 C)
We'll be back next year and will do the obstacle course as well.
Highly recommended outing!

I was planning a family vacation to Ottawa and Montreal. I wanted to plan some fun activities for teenagers in addition to museum visits. When I learned about Arbraska, it sounded interesting but I really didn’t understand what it was. I was afraid it might be too dangerous. I sent several emails with questions. Valerie was fabulous! We didn’t have to pay until we got there. I was able to change the day and time of our reservation. When we arrived, the participants suited up with helmets and harnesses. They had a good training session. Everything seemed safe. Some reviews said to wear pants, gloves and bug spray. My boys didn’t use any of those and were fine. They had a fabulous time. I think athletic, adventurous people would really enjoy the course. I enjoyed walking the trails below the cables so I could watch and take photos. My nephew didn’t want to participate so he was able to relax in the main building. My sister participated and enjoyed it. I was surprised to see little children doing the course with their parents. This stop may have been the highlight of our trip!

It’s been a couple weeks since my friends and I decided to try out this zipline course (keep in mind I’ve done multiple zipline courses in the past). So as the weeks of excitement lead up we’re feeling pretty pumped for this activity. We reserve for today 08/12/2018 for 1pm. Before heading out we check out their website and take everything we need. We drive over an hour, get to Abraska where the staff wasn’t particularly friendly (they just kept staring at us instead on directing us what to do), we fill out our waivers and go down to get suited up. We are then handed our harnesses which we put on and then have an employee make sure we’re ready to go. As the employee gets to me she starts pulling and says hold on let me see if I can get you a bigger harness to make sure you’re more comfortable. Mind you I never mentionned anything about being uncomfortable and the harness fit without a struggle. A manager then comes over and advises me they do not have bigger harnesses therefore I cannot participate. A worker then comments that they used to have bigger harnesses but now they no longer do. Stunned to what I’m hearing as nowhere do they disclaim they do not take individuals who are bigger boned I walk in to get a refund. Abraska’s core values include to respect others and enjoy nature which was unfortunately not demonstrated during my visit. I will definetly not recomment Abraska Laflêche to any of my family or friends due to this horrible experience. **For reference I am a size 14/16 in pants and a xl in tops, so if you fall in this category don’t bother taking the drive because you’ll just be fat shamed and turned away.

Nous avons mon copain et moi choisi de faire le parcours extrême : la rafale. CONSEIL: il est le plus dur parcours extrême au Québec. Alors avant de choisir cette aventure, demandez vous: suis-je assez en forme? Je pèse 190lbs 5p8 et j'ai passer par dessus mon orgueil et j'ai abandonner. Je n'étais pas capable de le faire. Alors le guide qui était avec nous a du me faire descendre. Et j'ai attendu mon CHUM a l'accueil pendant que lui finissais le parcours. C'est dommage de gaspiller sa journée et des sous.J'ai regarder Les autres parcours à quoi ils ressemblaient et sa semblait bien. Il y a aussi les grandes tyroliennes. Super cool!! A faire.

This was the most challenging adventure course compared to the other 2 I've done. Lots of great challenges and you feel like you've worked hard after completing all of the obstacles. The ziplines were very fun, I had to do them twice. They also offered military discount, which was great.

I would like to know if its still exciting for 11 year olds. Have they outgrown the smaller part. How many things do they have access too?

i havent had the chance to stay here yet! but im booked for october and someone from the hotel already called me to answer my questions! as early as now im lovin it already 😄 cant wait to be there in october!
