Absolutely shocking! They knew I was waiting and didn't stop the train! How awful! I asked them several times as well where the train was!

Dropping people off at the new entrance seems impossible. having ti use the taxi area or using a chargeable car park. fairly poor and a lack of customer care. Possible I have made a mistake so happy to be corrected.

On the right track

A quaint railway station that looks quite small on the outside but is deceptively big on the inside. It has 12 platforms so you have to read and listen to the relevant information in order to board the correct train. The station is clean and well maintained - a good ‘crew’ of people working there!

Bravo ! Crewe station

Crewe station is where I have changed trains many times for onward journeys ,and have to say each member of staff I have spoken to on each journey has been pleasant and helpful ,it’s no small thing when you travel alone across country to know that the staff are there and will do what they can to help ,
Crewe is definitely my station of choice ,I avoid Birmingham New st as much as possible only going through there if it makes a massive difference in cost ,the staff there need more training but you can’t train as with some people a bad attitude,
So at Crewe again later today ,there are no high st shops or fancy walk ways or expensive coffee shops but there is hot drinks ,quiet waiting rooms and courteous,friendly staff !

Probably the most annoying train station in the world. Every 30 seconds there is a really loud announcement on the public PA system. No other train station in the world is like this. You really need to stop these announcements every 30 seconds, you can’t have a conversation with the person sat next to you. I came from Euston in London to crew and in Euston there was no announcements in the 20 minute time i was there. Honestly so annoying.

Simply a traditional English Railway Station - good

For me Crewe seems to be the centre of the British Railway system as you can get anywhere in the UK from here. It captures a bygone era as well as being up to date in other ways.

Crewe is a large railway station with a number of railway lines converging to form a big junction.

There are 12 platforms so make sure you check you are in the right place. In this post-COVID-19 world there is a one way system in place. The main entrance is where you go in. You leave the station by Weston Road which has a decent sized car park.

All the staff I met were friendly and professional.

I feel it is really inappropriate for Crewe station staff to question in a rude manner my reason for travel. This can be asked without a air of mistrust.

I thought I was over reacting until on just missing a train I was told “ I should not be travelling anyway “ as a introductory comment.
I was in fact travelling home after a night shift as a key worker.
Really Crewe railway staff I think you can improve your customer relations 100% by realising you are not doing yourself any favours by rude and misplaced comments.

I try so should you.

I was travelling north to Glasgow for a funeral and had a change of train at Crewe. I got off my train at Crewe for my change, and as soon as it left the station I realised I had left my suit on the train! I went to customer service and Cath was fantastic! She tracked the mobile number of the guard on the train, called her and got her to find my suit, hand it over to the staff at Stockport who put it on a train back to Crewe where it was handed back to me in just over an hour! She then organised my onward train because I had to miss my original connection, and I arrived in Glasgow just 10 minutes later than my original journey would have delivered me.
Cath was just brilliant! What a fantastic team they are at Crewe.

Poor signage. Few people to ask for help. No indication on lifts about where you are. Nothing to tell you how to get from one platform to another. Very disorienting. Exhausting. Stressful. By the time I found someone to ask I was almost in tears. A horrible experience for a lone traveller
