“Very Nice local Park”

ภรรยาของผมคิดว่าที่นี่ได้ถูกเธอสวนที่ดีที่สุดใน เป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อยมาก สะอาดและปลูกได้ ไม่ใช่สิ่งที่คุณปกติได้รับของวันนี้ อุปกรณ์กีฬาและสนามเด็กเล่นจำนวนมากสำหรับเด็ก ๆ อย่าลืม ' บ้านผีเสื้อ ' ตอนนี้คุณไม่ได้หลายแห่งในสวนเหล่านี้ในท้องถิ่นของคุณคุณ! แนะนำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง

Great free day out 4 stars for volunteers. Very poor Management.

We went yesterday 07/06/23 to Victoria park widnes.we had a couple of hours there.The highlight of the visit was the butterfly house lots of beautiful butterflies all around with great number of species from around the world. The volunteer staff members where very friendly, knowledgeable & informative.
We also visited the cafe for a brew lots of people there.
The pair of swans where there along with the very young signet.
The only thing stopping us giving it 5 stars was the disgraceful flower beds. No attempt seems to have been made too replant the borders & shows little park management skills.
Maybe there isn't any Park Management in Widnes ?.

Nice relaxing walks

We have been to this location many many times.
Great location, parking in adjacent roads which can get busy at times.
Good facilities, nice place for a tea or coffee with a snack.
Large park with a skate park and dog section, the dog section needs some tender loving care as it’s not maintained very well.
Play area for the kids is very good.
Cafes very good, the smaller one near the swings is cards only, all fine staff lively.
Generally it’s great but maintenance needs a nudge it used to be fantastic.
Well worth a visit it’s really good.

Disgrace by dog owners

We went to the park today , the play area we couldn’t fault .
Took the children to the cafe ,we let the children run on the grass there was dog fouling all over , we’ve never seen anything like it , it was awful a disgrace considering there is a dog area in the park .

Nice park.

Lovely little park with a nice ice cream parlour called Esposito’s where they make their own ice cream and have a good variety of flavours to choose from. Nice coffees too. Absolute gem to have on my doorstep and to be local to. Had a park for the kids too and a skate park too.

Lovely park

It’s a nice, big park to walk around. The ice cream parlour was very popular. There are toilets and an indoor coffee shop. The swans are beautiful to look at. Very busy on a warm day with young people and families. It’s a pleasant place to chill on the grass on a hot day.

A lovely park that is in need of support

Once a very well presented park now looks to be suffering from lack of respect by some of its visitors. The level of facilities has fallen over the last few years. (All exercise equipment has been vandalised and is non functional, Butterfly house no longer open, climbing rock vandalised and fenced off, no on-site security or patrols) .
During the winter months the lack of lighting along 2/3 of the paths makes for a very dark park.

As a frequent dog walker I am pleased that it is a ‘Dogs on Leads’ park. I would mention that the designated dog area is frequently water logged making it excessively muddy.

Great if you want to get threatened by chavs with knives or your bike robbed the park is wonderful it's the asbos that spoil it

Great park

Great park with almost everything you could ask for. Lake with birds & a fountain, Skate Park, Playgrounds, Splash Pad, Climbing Boulder, Tennis Courts, Bowling Greens, Cafe, Bandstand & usually a Butterfly house (though that’s closed at the moment I think)

Only thing I can mark it down on is the parking. There is no car park so you have to try & find a spot on the surrounding streets which sometimes can be difficult.
