Fabulous. Food exceptional and service fantastic they could not do enough. So glad there were no children as we could enjoy the atmosphere. Love it. Can’t wait to go again 🥂

As an intitial heads up this place is NOT child friendly. There’s no baby changing facilities, there’s no high chairs, stair access only & the staff (1) are genuinely rude if you turn up with a small child.
I totally get it if they don’t want to accommodate kids, some places don’t but this should be flagged upon booking & it wasnt.
Polly was extremely rude, made us feel so uncomfortable, I was anxiously sweating all the way through the lovely breakfast we had booked & made to feel like I shouldn’t be there.
My friend suggested we get our food to go & sit on the bench in the village & in all honesty I wished that we had as that would have been a much nicer experience.
I’m sure everything would be fine had we not had a baby with us, the other table looked to be having a great time but if we had been told upon booking it wasn’t suitable for kids then I wouldn’t have brought one.
I believe in 2nd chances but on this occasion I wouldn’t return even without my child based on the principle that one staff member can make someone feel so inadequate & in a customer service environment this is totally unacceptable.

After reading wonderful reviews of this place I was excited to go with 3 friends. I have a 5 month old baby who came along. I was told on arrival that they “do not allow pushchairs” and asked if the pushchair would collapse - leaving baby with nowhere to sit. The owner make me feel embarrassed as if I was causing trouble by being my baby along. There are no signs outside to say ‘no pushchairs’ or no warning despite advanced booking. I was then told that because it is causing a problem they would allow the pushchair this one time.
I had never visited this shop/cafe before so didnt know that they did not allow pushchairs however I feel this is discriminatory. I understand no children but there should be signage or information on the website.
Made me feel very uncomfortable for the rest of the breakfast.

Arrived and received such a friendly greeting. Had a browse around the shop first that sells some lovely merchandise and purchased many Christmas presents. Spent far more than I should but no regrets.
We then sat down and were served such a wonderful array and choice of sandwiches, cakes, savouries as part of the afternoon tea. They also have a good selection of additional drinks both alcoholic and soft drink options- truly something for everyone.
The staff are amazing, so friendly and efficient.
This place is a real jewel. Definitely a place I will visit again.
Absolutely recommended.

Absolutely loved our champagne breakfast for my sisters 30th! The girls were so friendly and so welcoming doing their upmost to make our experience amazing! The food was beautiful and they even made a fresh fruit pot for my sister as she had an allergy! The girls were happy to take some photos for us socially distance! 🙂🥰
The shop is gorgeous and we all brought some little treats from the shop!
Thankyou so much girls we all felt very safe and it was amazing! 💕 we will all definitely be coming again! And if you haven’t been already, your missing out! Xxxxx

Arrived on spec with my son for a nice coffee and was greeted at the door with the biggest smile ever! We were informed there would be a couple of minutes wait until a table became available. Well it was only a couple of minutes before we were told a table would be free. We then noted how scrupulously clean they got to work on ensuring everything was sanitised for us - tables, chairs etc. We were shown to our table again by the young lady with the beaming smile who took our coffee order whilst we perused the breakfast menu. Another beaming smiley lady then came over to welcome us and this was the Owner. No wonder her staff have been well trained in good customer service. Our coffees arrived followed by some lovely toast we also ordered. How refreshing to order a hot drink which is actually delivered nice and hot. It was the most flavoursome cappuccino we had tasted. Even our toast was beautifully presented. On a dull damp day this was definitely a good idea.
I would highly recommend this little jewel of a shop in which to escape the outside world. Find out for yourselves and go there. Lots of gifts and unusual items to browse around after your coffee. Thankyou lovely ladies

Came here for a much needed catch up with 3 friends. The afternoon tea that we had was fantastic along with fab service. Highly recommend Strawberry House if you want classy surroundings great food and fantastic service.

Have had afternoon tea a couple of times & also the savoury continental breakfast. Both were beautifully presented & tasted lovely.
The place itself is bright, sparkly & glitzy. There is a gift shop on one side of the premises selling handbags, jewellery, candles etc. The coffee shop is on the other side with the tables set amongst an array of lovely items from the gift shop.
Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere special for an afternoon tea/breakfast to celebrate a birthday or special occasion.

I regularly visit strawberry house, they have a fantastic selection of cakes, coffee is great, breakfast menu is superb!
My favourite is afternoon tea, which I love going to with my Nana!
The girls who work there absolutely spoil her rotten and has become her favourite hang out.
Its always fantastic to meet the girls on a friday afternoon and share a bottle of prosecco to start the weekend, with the added bonus of treating yourself in the fabulous shop, from handbags to sparkles for every occasion!

I’ve got quite a bad “coffee habit” and probably drink more cups than I should.....
Started coming here on a regular basis, coffee is excellent (both in and take out). Freshly made scone tastes great
