The first thing we did on arriving in Bribie Island was to visit the Information Centre. It is centrally located with designated parking while you visit the centre.
The lady was very friendly and welcoming. We asked her about the things to do in the island with only a few hours to do it.
She asked us what interested us and then gave us some great ideas and some maps to get us there.
Makes life so easy when you come to a new place.

Visited here looking for a map of the area. Very helpful and friendly people working in the centre . Passionate locals that were more than happy to help us out. Told us some very useful information about the local area and also interested in us and where we came from. Nice people to meet.

On the day we visited, our family was helped by two lovely ladies who spent quite a bit of time with us, loading us up with brochures, pointing out bus stops etc.. and even provided a cool glass of water! Worth a visit for sure!

If you've never visited Bribie Island, one of your first stops should be here at the Visitor Information Centre.

Whatever you need to know about Bribie Island is available at the information centre.The volunteers who run it are a credit and have great tips about everything from a day visit to possibly living on the island.

Once over the bridge proceed past the only lights on the Island and you'll see the Info Centre. If you can - try to park in the middle car park - or road side - left. Worth a visit.
