One of the oldest churches in Sth Aust
Over 160 years old and still going strong. The church is open every day from 10am to 5 pm for prayer and meditation and there is a message book and board where prayers and thank you notes can be posted.
The church is also a shrine to Our Lady of Yankalilla who made an appearance to some parishioners about 30 years ago. Well worth a visit from the historical viewpoint.

A pretty little church a little ways back from the main road. It stands proudly in its own. It caught my eye with its simple design. And yet, the stone construction is powerful. Not sure about the miracle; certainly worth a quick observation.

This church sits back from the road in a large open space, and is open for visiting. Although it is Anglican, there is a strong emphasis on Mary. Some years ago it made the newspaper headlines with reference to a patch of plaster which was said to resemble the Madonna and Child, and became a place of pilgrimage. The plaster patch is still there, but I'm not convinced! However there are attractive stained glass windows, a painting by Pro Hart above the entry, and a baptismal font said to originate from Salisbury Cathedral. Outside are several statues and a painting of Mary which for some reason decorates the toilet block. Worth a look.
