We spent some time talking with the owner as we were there early in the evening. He is sourcing the honey locally and I was impressed with the samples I had.

Local magazine mentioned this new winery that brews artisan honey wine (mead). It is in an older building (possibly the old Speedway Inn building from the 1970's) just outside Beach City on Route 21. Tried several of their 30 flavors, including orange blossom. 18% alcohol, with a sweet taste. Tastings are $1. No beer. Live music on weekends.
